azealia said before the release that this album will be one of the most innovative rap albums of all time, challenging kanye west and other well known artists in hiphop scene. she did not lie tho, this record literally gave birth to hip-house and electronic hiphop. after this, vince staples released big fish theory - and some rap artists started to collaborate with DJs, just to do the same thing she is a musical genius. great ear for sounds + clever wordplay and presentation. probably the reason why a lot still give her mad respect despite the controversies.
The music industry doesn't deserve her. She's too good for them. I wish she'd make more music though cause her fans need her. Also its unfair how her version of New Bottega wasn't released. Still waiting on that.

“BWET” is something I’ve never heard of before. Banks had issues with releasing “BWET” because management felt her music didn’t cater to the mainstream. That’s what made it to great. Banks has a very unorthodox style that makes her so special I’m the rap game. What other female rapper can rap heavy over house beats or incorporate ballroom into rap? Banks was in a category of her own. No female rapper is seeing Azelia Banks.
