- A compilation of some of the emergency services responding on lights and sirens that I filmed on vacation in Majorca, Spain. Filmed in the cities of Palma, Alcudia and Muro. Vehicles included are from various Ambulance services, The Guardia Civil (Civil Guard), the national police and the airport fire service.
Vehículos de la Policía nacional y de los Servicios de emergencias médicas y de bomberos y de Guardia Civil en urgencia en Mallorca, Illes Balears.
I am from spain and I have to say that the ambulance in the minute 1:04 is really rare to see. You had good luck.
Saw that one 5 times that week haha
Originally police used blue lights, ambulances yellow and firefighters red lights. This has now changed to all blue on new vehicles but I will miss the ability to see what sort of service was coming in from behind just based on the lightbar color.
Awesome catches;)
Thanks!
Very nice catches!
Thanks 👍😊
Nice Transit At 0:57
Very nice sirens
I agree!
Great stuff! Cool to see a variety of vehicles from there. How long did you spend getting all these shots?
Thanks. Probabily about 3 hours to get all these. I have many more Spain videos to come!
Dragon999vids Wow that’s not long at all for that many clips! Lucky!
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses it's such an unbelievably busy place for emergency vehicles responding, especially ambulances!
Nice video!
Thanks😊
Yellow lights. Great catches!
Thanks. The yellow lights are being phased out in Spain now, as blue lights are legal now
@@dragonemergencyvideos It was illegal for Ambulances to carry blue lights??
@@DTSam070 it was yes
According to a new law all new emergency vehicles have to carry blue lights. I actually prefer the old method because you could see the difference between police (blue), ambulance (yellow/orange) and firefighters (red) from a distance.
I'm from Spain
Hola
X2
What siren is this 1:00 PLEASE i need urgent answer
Nice Video! Where exactly is this place with the traffic circle?
Thanks! Which one? There are a few areas in this video
DragonEmergencyVideos The one with the chair where you also filmed the Fire Engines responding.
That is in Alcudia, Mallorca
DragonEmergencyVideos Thanks!, I filmed the Station Manacor responding: ua-cam.com/video/EmdKVkRTv9E/v-deo.html
Sweet
First car in this video have not working light on grill. I,m talking about ambulance.
why spain use amber color on ambulance lightbars???
They dont anymore, these are old videos theyre blue now. They were amber to distinguish between police, but the law has been changed now so they've changed them
Why do Spanish Ambulances have different names? On one the name is Clinic ambulancia. The other Juaneda Ambulancia???
Their private ambulances
Private companies that get to serve different zones/regions under a public contract.
Differnt hospitals
Why does ambulance in Spain have Yellow emergency lights?
They don’t anymore. Was spanish law at the time of filming
what does the civil guard do
Same as police, just in rural areas
It’s like the French Gendarmerie. It’s a military police force that does civilian policing.
Im from spanish de civil guard is the spanish sheriff and the border police
Hi! I Will copy and glue one comment here explaining the law enforcement in Spain. Understand that I am spanish, my English is not the best
Hi!! No they are not a military Police exactly. They are able to be a military Police in war times, but in peace times they are civil Police. Policía Nacional (Bundes polizei in Germany, Polizia di Stato in Italy or Police Nationale in france) act in cities ( more than 20.000 People) and Civil Guard in small towns (less 20.000 People)
Civil Guard is similar with Carabinieri or Gendarmerie Nationale. Also they have powers in traffic, public order in towns and ports and airports.
Also, we have municipal Police. With powers in their own city.
Some regions have regional Police, like Catalonia ( only mossos de esquadra) Basque County ( only Ertzaintza) Canarias ( Guardia Civil, Policía Nacional and Cuerpo General de Policía Canaria) and Navarra ( Policia Nacional, Guardia Civil and Policía Foral de Navarra)
For finishing, Some regions have an unit of Policía Nacional with powers For giving Security to de regional parliaments, but they are not a regional Police.
I hopeyou can understand it, it is difficult to explain. Sorry For my english. Regards!!
Yellow lights that's different
Absolutely! Thanks for watching 👍😁
Very inefficiënt...
John Anderson Not at all inefficient. Unless you can prove so they are not.
Les falta experiencia en conducción de vehículos prioritario
They don't use wail anymore
Only hi-lo and yelp, or even 3 tone on the ambulance sometimes
Who doesn't? In Majorca and most if spain it's the most common siren as far as I know
@@dragonemergencyvideos maybe
But they mostly use hi-lo and yelp
Because it's part of the EU
@@BlackieFoxxless Many EU countries use mostly hilo or their own equivalent, but spain always use a mix, including mostly wail. Only spain and France use the 3 tone.
@@dragonemergencyvideos
What you just said is indeed true about EU
I am glad to hear that EU use Mostly hi-lo
spain is kinda okay, nothing wrong with that
Oh i also got confused with the 3 tone there
Didn't know that, thanks
And if the Emergency vehicles use orange lights
Then what does the other vehicles use?
