- I've got a new channel you have to see! 1000 Songs by 1000 Acts over 1000 Days!!! EveryDayMusic!!! And I've bought a new camera (recently)... a Canon HF XA10 with a Rode VideoMic Pro for much more amazing HD video and stereo sound! I'm now shooting concerts/music 5-6 days a week and putting up a new song/vid everyday!
I can't believe I let over 57,000 views on this video pass by without a description. When I started shooting concerts (I've been a pro camera op for more than 20yrs but started shooting music on a small Sony DSC HV9X) all I did was post vids... couldn't care less about the rest of it. But some of the best music on this channel (Ben Harper, Daniel Lanois, Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett, John Hiatt, Michael Franti) have a few 100 views on them and there's tons of crappy sounding/looking videos of live music out there with 100,000's of views!
For my new project EveryDayMusic I'm making a blog post with a new video/song/performance (that I shoot) every single day for 1000 days! I write a bit with info/links for the artist... on some days, I'm posting what I saw the night before! First month featured Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Ben Harper, 'Guitar Hero' Don Alder and some amazing musicians from the Vancouver area. Every kind of music from Folk to Punk, Funk to Burlesque (singing while dancing)... every kind of instrument/music I can find..."Like" my Facebook page at: everydaymusictv !!! I love watching them both play together.. You can sense the energy they share together, such a perfect combination! I wish they never stop play this beautiful music and that they keep inspiring each other to share their inspiration to us.

@luquinhabh Toca is that guy with the beautiful harmony who sings with Jason in this song. I would be forever happy if just Jason and Toca did music together.

I'm from Brazil. If it wasn't because of the Easter Holiday, my friend and I would play a pack of Jason Mraz' songs at a Square near my house. This is more than inspiration, this is a life lesson ;) cheers, Mraz lovers!

This is Mraz's best performance of this song by far. The harmonies used here are not really repeated in any other performance. This performance is what caused me to learn this song. Some of his other presentations of this song are not nearly as compelling.

@luquinhabh -- Toca Rivera is Jason's percussionist/harmonizer extraordinaire. He has been with him since the Java Joes days in San Diego. Do yourself a favor and look up some old-school videos (Uncle Crispy has a whole Java Joes set as a playlist on UA-cam). Enjoy!
