Yep fishing is allowed right now and I'm keen to get back out there! It's just that I've chosen to self isolate since the restrictions to general daily movements. I probably should have worded it better. I just thought I might get some comments on why there appears to be groups of people walking by, us fishing in a group of three etc.
Appreciate it Moonman Fishing. Yes, would love to do some of that especially for salt water. I got a take from a carp in one of the previous vids but missed the strike 🐟
Thanks Deano! During the editing of these videos, it just gets me pumped thinking about when I can get back out there eventually. Things are improving! 👍
Breams for 90c loaf of white bread. Hard to beat. Would u ever do a catch and cook? Or not your thing bro? Not a request (unless youre keen) just curious.
@@ajlm2010 That's right haha. It's also like the 'cleanest' bait to use as you don't get your hands dirty. I may do one, one day. It would probably be different and not just a regular indoor video. I probably should have done a lot of those on the Weipa trip. Some fish fish went straight from the water to the frying pan haha.
Thanks Dinosaur Jr. There would be some prehistoric monsters in there. I'm always tempted by darling harbour bream. I saw a video the other day of a mid 40s bream from there 🤤
@@nicksmith3746 not sure exactly why, i think its to do with the fact thats its heavy traffic of tourist area and they dont want people fishing getting in the way of that but definitely lots of foot long plus bream along the break wall and under the pylons especially near the aquarium as i think the water recycled back from the tanks has some food scraps with it.
Hey mate I’ve been loveing ur vids.could you please give me some tips when going for bream with surf plastics and also when you use the watermelon red grubs what inch do you use.thanks mate
Thanks Miti. What do you mean by surf plastics? Do you mean fishing for bream along coastal beaches? About the watermelon red grubz, I use 2.5inch. It's the perfect size.
@@dimitreefn General advice would be to get used to casting, working, feeling with the light lures and jigheads required for soft plastic fishing. That's probably the first big hurdle. Once you have that feel, a good tip would be to work the lures slowly and methodically. Most people work the lures too vigorously and bream shy away from hitting lures worked like that.
@@ShroomFishing mate, I'll have to show you a few bread tricks around feeding, slop etc, can make a huge difference to the length of time you keep them engaged
Thanks Zee 🙏. Things are improving so hopefully it won't be too long before I head back out there. I had chosen to self isolate for the past month or so.
Hey guys, this was filmed before the restrictions. Stay safe everyone! BTW, some of you have been asking for bait fishing videos so here is one 🔥🔥🔥
Hey man, your allowed to fish!! Their is no restrictions for fishing in Sydney
@@BrokenGun101 yeah we allowed apparently but with 50km of your area and social distancing still applies

Thanks for another awesome video Shroom. It would be so cool watching you chase some larger fish on fly 🔥

@@ShroomFishing That's unlucky, I'm loving the carp videos too. Yellowtail Kingfish look so fun on fly, maybe a video with Fritz again 😎
@@hoodlumhunter Awesome! Maybe one day I can get that one film. Would be amazing.
Great catch there mate, We will have to go for a fish later this year mate! Love the vids👍

If I get a boat later this year come fishing with me ,I need some good tips
Niceeee one shrooommm something different. Good stuff bro.
Thanks Louie! Yeah, definitely something a little bit different yet very effective. I really should do this more.

there's huge bream around the casino, darling harbour as well...u just cant fish for them... another good vid dude

You're not wrong there mate. I swear 3weeks ago the bream and kings were busting up TOGETHER in Darling Harbour near the Maritime museum
@@stephencyster Wow! That would have been too tantalising! 🤤
Why can't you fish there? I didn't realise it was illegal to do so there.

Bread the amazing super bait, love the video
Yep, I totally agree Stephen. Surprisingly simple and bland but they work well on so many species. My current go-to for carp 😄🔥🔥
Hey mate does bread with some sesame seeds and grain on it works?
Not as well Josh, stick the white bread
Hello Shalom I love your videos
hey buddy what wharf you fishing at ?

Shroom and also where is that location in the harbour look great
@@dimitreefn He won't respond with a location.

Looks like good fun on the fly gear... but it’s too quite, always need that drag click. Good vid man
Haha true that Joseph! It's not quite the same compared to when someone's reel starts screaming and everyone turns around 🔥
This video's for me! 😁👍🏻
Haha absolutely Nick! 😄
love it
Thanks Peter.
Shroom love your vids and am learning a lot from you. Can you please let me know where this wharf is? Would be keen to try it out
Thank you Brad. More videos to come every week.
Yep, trusty sunblest goes hard on the breambos, never fails.
Haha true Infamousfpv. There's an art to choosing bread in the shops. They all don't fish the same for sure 😆
You need a toastie style bread with a bit of tackiness to it for hookbaits. Are you feeding breadcrumbs?
@@richardtuxford1812 breadcrumbs would have been good but we just used of slices bread ripped up into small balls.

Nice bro 😋Where did you catch it? Looks fun
Thank you bro.
Hi Shroom, I’ve never seen anyone bait fishing with a fly rod?
Yep not the best way to chase them. Originally we had a different plan but last minute changes led to this.
Try watching sticky fishy fishing too mate. I think that bloke tried fly fishing with bait as well.
Ronald Oviedo, thanks champ will check it out.
Nice fish bro welcom to bali
Thank you mate.
