Really like these challenge /custom Campaigns 👍🏻 To make these campaigns more enjoyable, use the Customize Starting Units Mod. Will let you clear the starting army and use units you want for any Lord essentially from Turn 1.
Thanks, great suggestion! For a "themed" run that would be great, but if I'm gonna call it a challenge then I'd prob rather just play vanilla and struggle through.
@@MercytheMad Yep. Early game struggle (right amount of challenge) has it's perks as well. However, it should not turn into a too brutal/ miserable experience (should always remain enjoyable/entertaining (both for the ones watching and you playing)) I thought this campaign would be over in 5 turns as if you siege a settlement that has a army with 4-5 units sitting inside with a single lord, when they attack and player retreats; AI usually follows and kills that lord. But that didn't happen. Many lords boost units that one couldn't recruit for like 40-50 turns or late/mid game (a single livestream let's say), so this Mod becomes an excellent option to play with those units. At Legendary, it's usually favorable to have Quantity, rather than quality as then one's able to field more units /armies. This, I think, would also add more challenge as Recruiting 3-4 Tier 3 units with 300/400 Upkeep would tank the economy a bit. I'd also recommend this Mod if you wanna play with Lords/Factions you don't wanna play otherwise. Call it a relaxed/enjoyment stream and have fun with a small custom army from the get go. For example - A witch elve army with Hellabrone, or 5-6 White Lions with Tyrion or 4-5 Pump Wagons as Grom, or 4-5 Hammers with Thorgrim or 4-5 Swordmasters as Teclis
