They also don't like to be lured into a trap. Drive slow and find the closest well-lit populated area- totally fine. There's cases where people have done this and then been arrested and charged for failing to follow the law. Unfortunately the laws on pulling over for police don't allow you to keep driving to a well lit area, or not stopping until you verify its real police.
Sadly it's a reality in many more ways than just pulling you over. Which has made it a prime time for people pretending to be officers to get into the houses of elderly people and one fake officer pretends to do a check up on their house and steals their money or valuables while the other distracts them. Its funny because they are basically forcing you to stop in the middle of the highway and I've seen cases of cops getting pissy for waiting a block to SAFELY pull over. Of course he acts like a dick, accuses my mother of using drugs and just starts being overall condescending, this goes on for like 5 mins before he “ lets us go” we call the police immediately after to report him and go and behold, he wasn’t a real cop… stay safe out there friends
I remember the story of a pregnant woman that got rammed and flipped over by the cop because she was taking "too long " to pull over. She was waiting to stop in a safer place because the cop was stopping her in a zone isolated and without any lights
I remember there was a case where a woman thought it was a fake cop. So she drove four more miles to the police station. Where she was pulled out of her car and brutally beaten by the police officers. They didn't see it as her being safe they seen it as her being disrespectful to their authority.
Or if you are already pulled over ask for a badge number if they can’t provide a valid 3 to 4 digit badge number ask for a supervisor if they don’t provide that call 911
It's always good to know where the nearest police station (or fire station) is located. Those are good places to stop if someone is following or harrassing you.
Michigan just passed a hands free law so now you can’t have your phone in your hands at all while you’re driving even for calls. And not all cars can make calls. So now I can imagine I’m in a scenario like this and it ends up being a real cop and now I’m definitely in trouble for having my phone in my hands
My mom taught me if i believe a fake cop is pulling me over or being pulled over by an unmarked cop to call the police to see if its real. But if its not to go to a public place like a gas station and to never pull over somewhere where it is just me and the fake cop.
The thing is, if you wait to stop or don't have a phone, they'll think your not going to stop and treat you like you are going to flee. Which can end in death. Scary
There’s a court case in the US about people who did this but were charged with fleeing or something? They put on their hazards and slowed down but kept driving because they were transporting someone who was having a medical emergency and the cops initially tried to pull them over for speeding
The loop changes the 'stop punching cops' line to mean the attorney will stop punching cops. 😂 "Get over it and stop punching cops." - The patient is clearly the one punching the cops. "I will help you get over it and stop punching cops." - Now it's the attorney who will stop punching cops.
Lately I’ve been pulled over a lot lately. My former neighbor was apparently a drug dealer and now the cops think I am too!? Never committed a crime in my life, so after having the utmost respect for police officers I now loath them and have nothing nice to say. Sad but true…
This is something that actually happened to a young girl. A man who had gotten out of prison somehow after having multiple counts of rape and other sexual assaults put red lights on his car and tried to pull her over. She called a cartoon number ( I don’t remember it at the moment) and it’s a legit number that tells you all the unmarked cop vehicles but tbh calling the ACTUAL police would be better 😂 luckily they were able to get to her in time and he was arrested again
Done this once and they said if I cant get the license plate while being followed they can't do anything. Needless to say I did not pull over and was right.

"Fake cop" is just another term for "hitman."
or "Serial killer"?
or "People with uncontrollable power trips"
you should make a video on how to handle crooked cops
The loop changes the 'stop punching cops' line to mean the attorney will stop punching cops. 😂
"Get over it and stop punching cops." - The patient is clearly the one punching the cops.
"I will help you get over it and stop punching cops." - Now it's the attorney who will stop punching cops.
Unless you are in Arkansas, those cops will pit you if you refuse to pull over immediately even if you feel unsafe. They post the videos online!
That loop was smooth
In many states it is against the law for an unmarked vehicle to perform traffic stops
What would happen if an off duty cop gets pulled over by a fake cop
It sucks you can get arrested for evading if you drive to a well lit area first.
"Before you pull over, call the cops"
That's the best idea ever. Call the cops while driving
Some cops will flip ur car over even if u follow these instructions
Done this once and they said if I cant get the license plate while being followed they can't do anything. Needless to say I did not pull over and was right.
Cop is gonna beat your ass for not pulling over immediately…😂😂😂
