What a great trick with placing the candles on the fireplace; I need to try that one on my current build. I was wondering how to place a painting on the fireplace mantle, but it kept locking to the wall behind it. So many great build ideas here I will need to try as well. Thanks!

Could you tell me how you “see” a globe can be a pot holder, candle can size up to be a pot etc? How do u train yourself to see these? I wanna learn too
it’s a lot of trial and errors, these stuff came from hours of failed attempts and me throwing things together till they work lol over time though you’d get super familiar with the catalog & how things work and it’d get easier to pick stuff out when an idea strike

The range vent combined with the fireplace is something I’ve never seen before…it looks amazing!
I love how u used the easel to make the painting look like it was leaning. That is a good way to do it without tool mod that I have not seen before.

top right corner of the screen > camera controls > switch to sims 3 camera > hold ALT > hold and drag objects with left click 😁

I can never get sims to use combined furniture.
lots of playtesting go into these cause each genre of items work a certain way 😢
but overtime you'd learn what can be used and what not
