Hyatt Regency Lake Washington Seattle’s Southport - Pros and Cons

I'm excited to share our incredible experience at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington Seattle’s Southport. We stayed there for two nights after our Alaskan cruise, and it was absolutely fantastic.
Firstly, the location was ideal. Being so close to the airport made our travel hassle-free. Plus, the hotel is right on the shores of Lake Washington, offering a breathtaking view. Stepping into the lobby felt like entering a luxurious Japanese onsen hotel-the view of the lake was a total 'wow' moment.
Our room, 1136, had a view that took our breath away. We could see Lake Washington, the Seattle skyline, and even distant skyscrapers. The room was modern and lavish, especially the bathroom and shower.
The Club Lounge on the second floor was a real treat. Free soft drinks, snacks, and a coffee/espresso machine made it a cozy spot. On the other side, the hotel's restaurant, Water's Table, impressed us. The food was excellent, and I had the best pancake of my life there. Plus, the restaurant boasts a top-notch lake view, just as I mentioned earlier.
To our surprise, the hotel is right next to Gene Coulon Park, a beautiful spot to enjoy nature. And guess what? It's also near a Boeing airplane factory, which was pretty cool to visit.
One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel isn't within walking distance of any shopping areas, so having a rental car is a good idea.
All in all, our last two days here were the perfect ending to our vacation. If you're seeking a relaxing, scenic stay near Seattle with fantastic food and views, this is the place to be.
