my heart is full of happiness every time Lisa and Bill share their travels, FUN PEOPLE
Cant believe they eat this much food.
@@jaysantos536 They share that way they can try many different foods. There both off of work the same time every week so that's when they eat out. Otherwise they eat at home
@@TheJleliot OK but it still seems they eat far more times per day than normal people.
@@jaysantos536 Only thing I can say Jay is I seem to eat more when I'm on vacation or just away from my home for a day than normal. So many different foods to enjoy. Have a good night
You will luvvv the smoked salmon Mac & cheese!
Smoked Salmon Mac & cheese....NOMM
NOMM NOMM'Z
Thanks for showcasing my home. Best seafood 🦞 Eva!
This is awesome thank for sharing l haven't been in Downtown Seattle since l worked in the area 1978.
I'm in Tacoma Wa now time for a visit.
Yay! I voted for Seattle - I miss my weekend trips down from BC. Hopefully will get back soon! I loved seeing all my favorite haunts in Pike Market. So much fun to watch you roam the market and try so many different snacks. Enjoyed!!
This is exactly why I fell in love with your channel years ago. Spontaneous trip with trying of random local foods.
Digging that groovy music!
Loved the market 🎉
I appreciate the lesson in how to use the train.
LOOKS LIKE YOU REALLY ENJOYED YOURSELVES AND ALL THE GOOD FOOD.THANKS FOR SHARING, KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK 👏👏👏
I loved your video. I’m going to Seattle in April so love seeing reviews of the different restaurants.
Thank you! Have a great time when you go!
Awesome people and awesome place. Good job!
You are so fortunate to enjoy all the great eats there. Another well done video. Thanks!
OMG! Everything looks so good! Thanks Bill & Lisa! Hello Seattle!💖😊☕
Love your video! I’ll be in Seattle for the first time next month. Can’t wait.
Loved this seafood crawl. Thank you Bill and Lisa for taking us along ❤️
Love Bill's baby bird imitation for the char sui
I thought the same thing! 😂😂
We do day trips quite often taking the ferry over. Across from the main market visit the best spice store. Don't forget to visit the Magic shop. I always get myself some flash paper for my little home made flash paper flame thrower to have fun at parties with. The whole area is geared for tourists but it's still fun.
Be ready to spend money if you want to but I like to go to watch people.
Thanks for the tips! Flash papers sounds fun!
@@billandlisa Thank you for showing us all your fun day there.
Thank you so much! I have been dreaming of travel again for the past two years, living vicariously through your videos. I am finally off overseas from Australia again next week - first stop is Seattle! I think I will be visiting that sandwich store for my first lunch.
So much good food, so little time…but you did a good job in tasting a variety of things. I loved the clam chowder and the cioppino, the baked goods looked terrific too, but next time get that salmon chowder - that sounded awesome! Thanks for taking us along on your Seattle seafood crawl 🦀🐟🦞🦐🌊
Cant believe these people eat this much food.......
i love how you folks travel, thanks 4 sharing
Yum😎
now i know where to plan my next vacation thanks so much
Love Seattle, many happy memories! Great video Bill and Lise! You two are so much fun!
SUCH GOOD PLACES TO EAT THERE
I been to Seattle about 5 years ago, I didn't know how many food places to try. I gotta go again thanks for sharing. I loved every moment.
That sandwich shop looked amazing! I would have bought a little bit of everything. That shrimp cocktail in a cup looked so yummy too! You guys always do such an amazing job on these videos! Safe travels.
Several years ago the Pike Street fish market was rated the worst place to buy fresh seafood.
Piroshky Piroshky is moving from that location due to all of their recent break ins and homeless camping out.
For the absolute best Dungeness crab try out Dead Fish just out of San Francisco, we stopped there for dinner with the kids on a road trip from north of Seattle. One thing I noticed was that they didn’t serve their crab with butter, so we asked for a side of melted butter but soon found out why, the taste of their seasoning is incredible
Bucket list city for me for so many reasons! Thanks you 2 for giving me more ideas for places to explore when I finally get there! The look on Bill’s face as he was eyeing that PB cookie was everything!👍🏼
So yummy 😋
Went to seattle for work about two months ago and man do I miss it. Definitely one place I wanna go back to. Good vibes and great good
Last time I was there it was super crowded and very warm ! So many great food choices at Pikes Place and yes the famous gum wall ! 😊
Thanks for another great video Bill and Lisa!
I live across the water from Seattle. Haven’t been there since I worked on building the Light Rail at SeaTac. That’s 16 years ago or more! Lol. The $ for King Crab legs is definitely “tourist” price. Glad you enjoyed your day. Great video.
everything you ate is terrific, but i find those chicken sticks from chicken valley quite vile. the michou deli is awesome! also, mee sum pastry is the same pastries as the chinese restaurant you went to. they make their pastries.
I knew it!
Pike Place Market is somewhat of a percursor to the farmer's markets that have become so popular today. This is where the concept was introduced back in 1907, when local farmers came to the city to sell their products directly to consumers. Back then, they were only allowed to sell their fruits and vegetables via special commission houses. Unhappy with this arrangement, a group of 8 farmers started a market at Pike Place where they sold their goods from their carts, and within a few hours they were completely sold out.
The news of this successful farmer's market spread quickly and more and more farmers made their way to Pile Place. Within 2 weeks, the number of farmers had grown from 8 to more than 70. A market hall was erected out of necessity. The Municipality of Seattle lost no time in doing this and the first market halls were opened 2 months later. More than 120 vendors could display their goods here in covered stands and Pike Place Market was born.
Wonderful food tour :-) Happy hungry! Cheers, Domenico.
Incredible content as always, friends! 🤌🏽❤️
I live in Seattle and you two made me very very hungry. I'm going to have to go down to Pike Place market now. You two are so cute. 😊
@8:01 those tomatoes look amazing!
What a super lunch date!! Lisa, you really re-married up! A Delta guy...who is a foodie too! I love Seattle, but never thought about just a day trip. You've inspired me. Thanks! Love you two!! 🤗❤❤
Right?! LOL!
Video well done!! 🥳 Enjoyed your video!
Thanks Bill and Lisa. I love how you also included the transportation you used.
Hand warmers for Seattle in spring... you can't be serious! And LA to Seattle on a day trip just for a meal at Pike Place, that's hard core guys. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
I have taken the light rail also from the airport to Pike's place. What I like to do is buy some smoked fish from one of the vendors, then go to a restaurant around there that serves bagels. Then I put the smoked fish on the cream cheese bagel. Delish! Thanks for all your vlogs.
It's great to see you traveling together and enjoying delicious food~! 😊👍
I lived in Seattle for 8 years & I'm going back for a visit next month. I'm going need some char siu on a stick! Kau Kau in the ID has the best chinese food & BBQ pork. Can't wait!
You were so close! You should make the trek across the border to Vancouver and check out our market -Granville Island Market.
They would lose their minds at Granville Market.
all the food looks good i think i want to live in seattle
I live in Seattle and haven't been to the Market in probably 5 years, but this has definitely motivated me to go back and do a little food crawl myself. I can't believe you were at the gum wall though and didn't go to Ghost Alley Espresso - by far my favorite Seattle coffee (and you guys with your McD's coffee in the bonus footage..lol). Fun video, thanks for sharing!
Remember not to get stabbed.
We have been to the Piroshky place. It’s wonderful. Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh I guessed right. Been to Pikes market once. Enjoyed it
Lived in Seattle and my favorite place I've lived... My body doesn't like the weather anymore.. Love your posts
Washingtonian here and one thing Seattle does very well is public transportation.
My brother moved up to Seattle recently. Probably going to visit soon. Definitely want some of those shrimps.
Bringing baggies for food leftovers is such a great idea!
Love that you went to visit Seattle! Love your videos and can’t wait for more fun adventures. ♥️
❤Never have been to Seattle. Enjoyed the video. Thanks a bunch!! 😂
Glad you enjoyed!
8:50 Bill the baby bird so funny 🤣
$20 for a shrimp cocktail in a plastic cup, $11 for a few pieces of Char-sui on a stick. Exactly why we don’t go to Pike’s market unless a friend or family come to visit from out of town 😂
Ooooh, can’t wait for you guys to get over here to the Bay Area for your SF crawl!! Another great vid, thanks Bill & Lisa! ❤️
Jacks fish spot is the best! It’s definitely a must.
Great variety today! Thank-you, we normally visit at least once per year but haven't been since COVID. Missing my Jack's chowder.
I guessed wrong, I said Boston. Great food review. Thanks and take care.
Thank you for the birthday shout out to my hubby Don murphy. You made his day ❤️
You are so welcome!
Omg, I can’t believe you both were here! Glad you enjoyed yourselves. Take care 😃
Hi Lisa & Bill! Love your videos!! I've lived in WA for 17yrs and our favorite chowder at Pike Place Mkt is from Market Grill. They also have amazing grilled sandwiches.
My favorite part of the video is one I can relate with....the Ziplock bag. I rarely waste food. If I were a millionaire I'd still keep a bag or two in my backpack, just in case.
Loved this..my old stomping grounds!!!
Never been to Seattle! What a wonderful place!! Really enjoyed this one, amazing!!thank you for taking me there!!!!😇😇
All my favorite foods in one of my favorite places!
Hello Bill and Lisa. That looks like a very fun day. I think I will have to do that. Maybe a 2-3 day. Too much to see and do for 1 day as I have never been to Pikes Market. Have fun, stay safe and stay Blessed.
Wow so awesome. Everything looked so good, especially Bill's chowder. Real enjoy your videos. Safe travels. Karen
2 of the best in the business 👏 👌
Me likey this video. May travel there this summer. Me and gf are planning it now.
I lived in Seattle (kent) for 5 years, didn't try as much as you guys got to at pikes place, so jelly! I'm currently back in Georgia waiting to move back!
I picked Seattle in the poll :D
Another great video!!! Thanks for sharing!
You two are so cute together.
I guessed Seattle yay. The clam chowder looks so good. The perfect consistency😋
Also, thanks for mentioning the prices!
Next time in the SF area head down to Moss Landing which is right smack in the middle of the Monterrey Bay half way between Santa Cruz and Monterrey. There is a place in Moss Landing called Phil's Fish Market and Eatery. They have award winning Cioppino.
Keep up the good work guys! Just got my tooth pulled so I'm living thru you vicariously.
OMG!!! You’re back in Seattle 😃!! My home town 😀. I’m happy you guys had an AMAZING trip and tried a lot of good food!!!! Thank you for wishing my daughter and I a happy birthday 🎉🎁🎂 You guys ROCK!!!!
Thanks for the tip on catching the train from the airport, and it was only $6 round trip! I have been to Seattle many times and never knew about this affordable travel option. The food looks amazing.
Not kidding!! we had this training video of pikes peak fish in the early 90s!! Teamwork and love your job! Going to Montana!!😂 the classics never get old !!
Your videos make me soo hungry - I’m in Minnesota and just about as far away from seafood as you can be in the US. I’m jealous-
Always great travel videos with delicious foods. Keep up the awesome work you two!!
Outside bakersfield ca there is a place called Murray farms. They sell okie fry pies. Like your piroshky but with gravy. If you are ever passing through...
Everything in the video looks so good! I wish I had seen this video before I went to Seattle 3 months ago, looks like I missed out on a lot of good food! I didn't get to explore Pike Market much because I felt rushed by my family
What a great day!!!.. I rather eat like that than sit down and have a meal. Everything looked so good!!
Have a Wonderful Easter Guys!!🐣🐰🐥🐇💐
Thank you! Happy Easter to you too, Cheryl!
Wow we live 2 hours north in Bellingham and never ate in Seattle or Oregon....Great to check it out. We are so close to Vancouver B.C. because of ease of parking, it's worth checking out Ricnmond B.C.... eg. Richmond night market in the summer, Different flavor Custard tarts in the RIchmond mall, etc where there sre growing Asian restaurants and businessses here. Got hooked on your video since I saw your London vlog. Now that I'm retired, taking notes of where to go! Thanks for wetting my appetite!
That Richmond night market sounds fun! Hopefully one day. Welcome to our channel. 😃
Thank you both for your short visit to Seattle, great clip
So much food, so many choices. Everything looked good except the gum wall, my stomach wouldn’t be able to take it. Enjoyed the video. Stay safe & Continue to be Blessed ✝️❤️✝️
What a lot of food, Made our mouths water. Cheers Mark and Jo UK
Whoa, when you said “Hong Kong style” while eating the egg tart, a trip to HK would be epic for you! And nearby Macau. Good seeing Pike Place again. There’s some tasty and unique eats there. It is touristy, but fun too. Nice video!
we start go fund for thems to go !!!
I’ve seen so many of your videos but missed this one and we just left Seattle 2 days ago! I should’ve checked to see if you had a Seattle video first 😩 I may have to go back soon!
Thank you for including the prices. Especially with the seafood. It seems to vary so much from city to city.
I 💖 Seattle! Gunna have to remember my baggies🤩 Mahalo 4 the video!!!
