I am wondering whether you prefer Paperpal to Jenni? Maybe Jenni is better for some academic assignments and Paperpal others? A video outlining the specific best usage for certain type of academic papers that showcased where Jenni excelled over Paperpal, and vice versa, would be really good.

So far it has been really nice in catching small mistakes. I used it as a word plugin for my abstract, and will use it for my paper this week once I'm done writing it up myself.
I'll also do the pre-flight for journal submission soon for another paper, hopefully it works well.

I'm curious about vested interests and disclosure in published research. Do any academic AI products tell us where the research funding comes from? Like, "...this research is sponsored by ABC company..." or "the dairy industry" or "PepsiCo" or "NSF" etc. And how about a specific researcher's ties with a particular industry or company that stands to gain from the research? I suppose it depends whether or not the paper even contains this information and/or if the journal requires disclosure.

Eventually, these tools and generated texts can be detected using AI detection tools. They can damage your repetition if you are a researcher and caught once.
I mean I get it you wanna make money, but there is no value if every week a new superduber tool is being presendet with the refferal code Amina40.
which tools did you use actually for your phd? if wee follow all the new tools when should we start to write? I dont want to analyze all the new tools every week!
I get it! I didn't use any AI tools because they didn't exist 2 years ago - they've all popped up in the last 12 months and they are continuously changing.
It's hard to keep up (even on my side tbh) and I'm just sharing the new features/tools as time goes on. From my experience, I think they all have their pros and cons - there is no ONE tool that would suit every academic/researcher and it's just about finding what works for you.
I also think AI doesn't work for everyone - some people may find their productivity less efficient with the use of AI. So there's that to consider too!
I say, give AI another 6 months - a year and things will settle, then it'll be more obvious which the strongest are and most academics would be using similar tools!

I see some shared issues in the comments below. @heritage433 is concerned about which of the many tools to choose and says " I dont want to analyze all the new tools every week!". @JA-pn4ji asks "So many AI tools, how to choose?". @naturalexplorer starts to focus in on the relative advantages of Jenni and Paperpal and @prof.higgins is hoping for " ONE AI tool that did everything." It seems that your very informative (and often inspiring) videos are complicating our issues of tool choice by introducing several more amazing new tools every month. I also see your dilemma because you want to keep your viewers up to date and you also have to keep producing a stream of new high quality content to keep us with your channel.
It could be time to move into the conversation about how we balance the affordances of different tools for particular research workflows with their affordability for eg low/no budget postgrad students, slightly better funded doctoral students and professional researchers. How about it?
