@@dementedzeroA lot of people dislike it because it is not like the original Gundam series before it. I like that it was different and the writers even wanted to make a different series of Gundam to keep it from going stale from the same type of story.

It baffles me that hardly anybody seems to really understand why the other Shuffle Alliance members, as well as Schwartz Bruder recite the same piece of Domon's signature monologue.
1)- cuz they have a strong desire to defeat Domon
2)- they all have their own reasons for wanting to win the tournament
3)- They will only help Domon fight the Dark Gundam after he defeats them in battle.
4)-It's cool as fuck to say
What can they say, "These hands of ours are burning Red!"
5)- A warning that they know how the attack works and he better have a new trick up his sleeve. (Which he finds pretty quickly)

I tried to do the spirit gun on my teacher when I was a kid... cops were called for making a death threat... Never saw any dragon ball or gundam kids getting arrested, guess that means they weren't as awesome. HAKUSHO#1!

My trifecta of American VAs: Mark Gatha (Domon Kasshu), Justin Cook (Yusuke Urameshi), Steven Blum (Spike Spiegel)
These three were their characters. They were so perfect in their roles that stuff nowadays just feels disconnected. I hear a voice and see a character, if I was blindfolded I wouldn't be able to uniquely associate the VA to the character, only as trivial fact say a VA did such and such role. So now if the voice and character don't meld, I immediately just switch to sub.
