I have been a Wilson guy and have been hitting a blade the last two years. I just demoed Head speed, MP and ordered two in the black. I like the extra power it gives me because of the extra weight. Additionally, my kick served are popping man.
What do you think about BbigBanger ALU Power compare to your top 7 strings . I use this for 2.6 years and maintaine last a long time when use 40 + or more tension goes .What do you think in comparison.
I had both, I like Wilson better. Head has stiffer frame to me even though specs says that this is flexible racquet. . I can feel it. With Wilson you feel more connected to the racquet and feel it less on your elbow if you mishit.
I’m no professional but I demoed the 2024 cx400 tour, 2024 speed mp, 2024 blade 98 v9, last model of cx400. Main racket is 2022 speed mp. Feel, forehand, backhand, etc best to worse for me…. Head Speed MP 2022 CX400 Tour 2024 Wilson Blade V9 98 CX400 Tour last model Head Speed MP 2024 I enjoyed all the racquets.
I also demoed the cx400 tour and play the mp 2022. I felt the CX was very close to the MP although a very nice racket, not anything better than the MP. So staying with my MP.
Help please: I am looking for a string that is best suited for flatter shots on the forehand side and slice on the backhand. I am an older 5.5 player. I was always a synthetic gut player (Toalson 120) was the perfect thing for me. The more it stayed in the racquet the better it played until it broke. I cam back into tennis after a few years off. I suddenly find all the strings to be launchy and unpredictable. I tried hyper G (all gauges) and tensions. I tried it on Wilson blade ( 98 and 100), speed ( MP and pro), and gravity (Tour and pro). I liked the 11g gauge at 45 pounds, but the honeymoon lasted for one session and then it became very launchy and unpredictable. Seems to be designed for heavy spin and this is not what I am looking for. I need a string designed for flatter shots with a lot of feel but not dead.
You're a 5.5 player? Wow, you'll be wearing out Hyper G in a few hours. If you want durability and flat shots, here are my recommendations. They are all great but they have different feel. The first number is their slickness/snapback according to Tennis Warehouse (lower = less friction, better snapback), and the other numbers in parens are stiffness/tension loss/power return. People also seem to love Solinco Confidential but I don't like it for whatever reason. (BTW I didn't type this just for you. I had this from my own notes, after long experiments.) .070 Technifibre Razor Soft 17 (211.33.88) - Medvedev’s string .071 Head Hawk 18 (194.29.88) - plays stiffer than this, lower power, very dead feel, which I sometimes prefer .077 Solinco Outlast 18 (186.27.91) - plays very powerful and lively .078 Luxilon 4G Soft 125 (217.26.90) - more power, less control than Head Lynx Tour .079 Head Lynx Tour 17 (218.24.90) - great tension maintenance for a shaped string, less durable than these others .083 Head Hawk Touch 17 (199.31.90) - Head's version of ALU Power or Polytour Pro, but better tension maintenance .095 Luxilon 4G 16L (259.21.91) - super durable but extremely stiff feel
OMG how amateurish, Harry for as long as you have you been playing tennis , and now you test 2 rackets against each other, but you use different strings in each racket, OMG you would never be able to get.a clean comparison without the strings being identical and with same tension. bad test
How do these sticks compare to Ezone 100, Vcore 100, Strike 100 and Prostaff X14?

Harry you need to spend more time with coach Pablo, the last time you got him to coach you he got your forehand stroke looking crispier than ever 👍

Will we have golden gate open this year? We thoroughly enjoyed the tournament last year.

interesting, curious what he thinks vs the cx400 tour
I’m no professional but I demoed the 2024 cx400 tour, 2024 speed mp, 2024 blade 98 v9, last model of cx400. Main racket is 2022 speed mp.

Maybe Hawk power would be good for you?

Best racket ever is wilson ultra v.3 300g with unique throat in history of all rackets easy access to power & spin even with no clear footwork
Comparing 2 rackets with differents strings & tension is completely useless...
Exactly what I was thinking.
fr, brainless
I don’t agree, different rackets are made for different strings, each racket should be compared with the string that suits it more
Newer is not always better. Emma Navarro is still using Vcore 100 v6 2021. Lots of good rackets out there are on discount.
Most pros are using old racquet with new paintjob
Lazy Video, can't even put the same string in both racquets. Already viewed the same thing on a different channel a week ago.
Blade just looks sexy so automatically will play better with ut
Is that the first time you chooses Head over Wilson😅?
Yonex Ezone is the best 100 sq in racket.

Get that hair off the lens. Was JJ Abrams shooting this video?
