AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Gen works on any GPU and CPU, and with any upscaler (FSR, XeSS, DLSS). This ability was added in the 3.1.0 update, which separated the FSR 3.1 upscaler from the Frame Gen feature, allowing Frame Gen to be used with all upscalers. I was very glad Fatshark included this update so that all users can turn on Frame Gen, which works very well for this game.
Big time appreciate the HUD setup guide, was pretty overwhelmed looking at it all myself over the last few days and this helped a lot moving things around just now in game.
Something to note about NVidia Reflex Low Latency is that enabling + boosting it makes your gfx card run at full power at all times, this is great if your bottleneck is your GPU but a complete waste if you're CPU bottlenecked. In that case it's better just to enable without boost.
Modding my UI was a pain in the ass, but it was so worth it. This game becomes so much better with QOL mods, shame that the devs do not adapt those and implement sth similar as a standard.
Just a heads up, you can use AMD FSR no matter what cpu brand or gpu. It wouldn't really matter what cpu you have because FSR is only a thing that applies to gpu. Nvidia reflex + boost is only a benefit if you are gpu bound, If you are hold back by your cpu you wont see a benefit. Usually if you set an FPS limit or using Vsync will take the load off the gpu and make you cpu bound. Keep in mind too that using +boost slightly lower frame rates and increase power usage, but it feels more responsive when you don't cap your fps. If you put it at enable + boost and you cap your game at 120 fps you don't have the benefit of it. I would put it just at enable if you put an fps limit since you are probably not gpu bound... For my setup, I'm mostly at 80% utilization in game with super resolution at quality so putting it at +boost is not really good. But! idk since you record your gameplay too. You might want to check your gpu utilization in task manager or Rivatuner.
@Mister E. You could add a link to your config file if people want to copy your setup right off. Like you did in a community post a while ago. After backing up your own config file first. You can "simply" go through it and copy paste all the lines pertaining to the relevant UI mods into your own config file. It's a bit fiddly but it was surprisingly easy I found. It's a lot easier to have the MrE setup as a base and tweak to your own liking, rather than recreating it from scratch.
Others have already said it but I'll say it again just for the engagement, yeah anyone can use FSR frame gen, AMD tech is nearly always hardware agnostic so anyone can use it. It looks pretty bad compared to DLSS frame gen though unfortunately, but its better than nothing for those who need the extra frames for smoothness.
@@MisterEtide The Nvidia Frame Generation alone will increase latency, as it takes a bit of time to render the fake frames. FG does make a game look smoother, by adding extra frames. But because these frames are interpolated on the GPU, and not fully rendered on the CPU+GPU, it will always increase input latency. Reflex is an option that optimizes the render pipeline for low latency. So much that it can negate the added latency from FG. But if you want the absolute lowest latency, then disable Frame Generation and enable Reflex. But sometimes, it can lower frame rate, just a bit. Reflex Boost is an option to force the GPU to keep a more stable clock speed. Modern GPUs, including the RTX 3070, have variable clock speeds that depend on workload, GPU temperature and power usage. But powering and unpowering transistors, takes some miliseconds to do. And sometimes, this means less smooth frame times and a small latency penalty. It's very small, and most people would never notice the difference between Reflex and Reflex+Boost.
I can’t be the only one here after reset, my Havoc is completely bugged and the menu flashes not letting me do anything. I’ve updated my drivers uninstalled re installed restarted my pc nothing works wtf is happening.
Firstly, It's nice to have information closer to the crosshair, so you can see things like grenades, ult cooldown etc without taking your focus off the action. A split second looking away from your center screen can be enough to be that tiny bit too slow to dodge a net or an overhead. Secondly, Darktide has way too many buff icons at default. In Vermintide2 it worked better since you only have a few abilities at a time that can be active, plus some extra stuff, so you can keep track of them. But with the new darktide trees, there can be like 20+ things active on you at a time from your own tree plus auras etc from allies, so you might as well have no buff icons as you'll have too many to see important things at a glance.

Thanks for the video! It's nice to see a creator listen to the people, was also really fun to play the other night!
Great guide and thank you for posting. Trying to set this up solo was a bit confusing.

Yay! REALLY appreciate this mate, quite fresh reject myself this come handy
i dont envy the XP grind

My god you are a master of your work. I needed this ~ praise the sun 🌞

Engagement for the engagement god, liking for… the best UA-camr throne?
Almost at 10k!!! 🎉
Hooray! Thanks so much for posting this guide! MuaH!!!

You run framegen? Doesn't it cause mouse inputs delays?
I run the boost and i truly don’t feel it

totally didnt sit for about 4 hours doin this cause u told me to
meeh we need workshop support i am on geforce now and cant use mods :(
I really don't see the complaints with the original UI. I'm a computer player as well but I've never seen a reason to mod anything
