UA-cam suggested this after I listened to some unaccompanied singing. Makes sense: from a cappella to a patella.

    Bob & Brad,
I hope you understand and hold pride on what you are doing and just how much impact you have had on the world. After my knee injuries and surgeries I thought I would have to live with chronic pain and fear for the rest of my life. To the point where some days I genuinely thought about amputation because I didn’t want to deal with surgeries every 10 years if it came to a replacement. Your videos have helped me in understanding my body and what changes I needed to make without the need for additional surgeries. Because of your videos I can jog again without the fear of popping something out of place. I still have a long way to go, but I hope you know that you are doing wonderful work providing this information for free. I wish you both the best.

Bob and Brad. Thank you so much. Since I moved to a neighbourhood that is very flat ( that is I don't get any up hill walking when I go out) I have developed really bad knee pain after going up just a few steps. That backward lung and then up on the toes is brilliant! Again, thank you.

Yes, your reporie is wonderful. WHAT WE NEED is someone to struggle through all the repetitions with us. May I suggest the two of you have an elder person run through these 3 to 4 minutes long repetitions while you two carry on the reporie helping her get through correctly. (I would like music too so it is not so "in your face" while focusing on our body during repitions.)
Presenting only talk&repoire, and not walking us through the routines (that your profession has discovered), simply is not motivational. Others offer routine with music..nice. If you two can offer routine and repoire with music, nothing could be more motivational for a daily routine.
    Thank you

I love that you are talking about knee's - it's been a problem for me since the mid 90's; Osteoarthritis. FYI, fractured my ulna and radius/left wrist on 2/4/18 Super Bowl Sunday, incomplete fracture. F/U 3/7/18 this Wed., radius migrated/fracture worse now I'm in a cast instead of a brace for extra 6 weeks. When both were showing the reverse lunge - do you think it might benefit me with very tight calf muscles? I know I probably should not do this until my fracture heals.

Okay, I first discovered Bob & Brad in April of 2017 when, after picking something up off of the floor, I heard a dreaded "pop!" "snap!" and bam, I landed in Knee Injury City. I guess my knee went past my foot? it was almost like...a bad lunge position.
So, I suffered a torn meniscus/torn gastroc annnnnd a "meniscocapsular separation". Or, capsular injury. It's been....hell. I've been dealing with this mess for almost a year now. I had surgery in November, but, I'm still struggling. My left leg muscles are weak, no matter how many quad sets I try to do.
I would love to try this exercise, but, I'm afraid. It seems very similar in form to how I originally hurt myself! :( But, again, perhaps my knee went past my foot resulting in a non-contact hyperextension. ....I really don't know. So, even though I'm desperate to strengthen my leg muscles big time... I'm not sure I'm ready for this one. Looks great, though.
If Bob & Brad happen to be reading this - I think you two are simply awesome and I soooo wish I could be one of your patients.
My own PT folks weren't sure if the protocol for a "Capsular Injury of the Knee" is the same as a Meniscus Tear, so....we halted all PT. :( siiigh.... Wonder what you two guys would think.
Anyway, cheers! Keep up the great work and like everyone else says...your intro song RULES.

Im 65 in great shape male. Im currently in out patient pt. Aside from the excersizes they have me doing at home, what can i do to expedite the recovery quicker. I cant wait to resume my regular gym training that im accustomed to. I nd to workout and jog my 20 miles a week. Its been really tough as all American are experiencing to get back to my workouts. There has to be something in addition to what im doing now to get back in shape. I dt care how painful it is, even tho i wont like it but ill do anything to speed up my recovery. Doesnt look like questions are being answered but I'll try anyway. My question is: is it ok if one knee pops everytime I come down from the up bent position? Doesn't hurt, just noise, but it worries me that I may be causing damage if I keep doing this regularly, though I tend to think it won't.

What strengthening exercises would you recommend for an out of place knee cap due to muscular imbalance?
