Wow it really worked!!! Just press the reset button for 30 seconds and then the charging light turned on
For laptop doesn't have a reset button/hole (Acer e5-571 in my case). Turn off, remove the battery, hold the power button for 20 seconds, plug anything back and then turn the laptop on.
After holding the power button for 20 seconds do i put the battery back ?? And then plug the charger back in ??

Everyone Go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sounds > Device Manager> Batteries> Try enabling and disabling the device or updating drivers

You needed to reset it by unplugging the battery then holding the power button for 15-30 seconds to reset it. I was having the same issue but at least resetting it ut allowed me to turn on the laptop and explore further. Even after installing new batteries, I would have to keep the laptop plugged in for it to keep on. The charger would only major it stay at 0-2% and if I unplugged it then it would power right off again. Tried everything on the software side I could by deleting reinstalling drivers, updating windows/drivers, and changing some settings but nothing seemed to work regardless… seems to be a more complex issue than I had ever anticipated.. :(

I have an Acer Aspire e1572 laptop. It turned on with no problem, I open it to reset the cmos battery. Found out this model doesn't have one. In reassembling it again, it wouldn't start, all I got was an Orange Blinking Light. Tried everything. There is no pin hole. Taking out the battery, Hard drive, RAMS sticks, the acer power cord is brand new. So I thought it needed a new Battery so I bought one. It's showing a Fully Charged New Battery... It Still Will not turn on!

@@edenazaar1705 Not permanent: solution is keep the laptop charging so u can use it but there's a high chance that the other motherboard or piecies can become broken.
Permanent solution:
Just buy a new battery for your laptop or new charger

I have a Acer nitro 5 and I lost my original charger that came with it. So I bought a universal set that fits every laptop. And for some reason the chargers won’t plug in all the way. I have to apply almost all of my strength to get the light indicator to come on. Can someone help me
Don't use the universal charger just buy one for your particular laptop (Acer nitro 5) and hopefully it should work.
And also one tip: never buy universal charger for modern laptops
