New subscriber here. Love your straightforward presentations. I just got a high-mileage 07 530i, and have a BT issue. I can tick and untick the BT box, so that seems to suggest that the unit is OK, but the menu option to pair a phone seems to have disappeared! It was there when we got the vehicle, and my wife paired her phone. Mine would not take, so I deleted hers and attempted to pair mine. But the "pair" option was never available again! Any ideas? Do I need to reflash? Is this a typical problem? Thanks Dean

Hi, wondering if you can help me. I can tick and untick the Bluetooth box. I can also pair a new phone, but after pairing the phone just sits among "paired devices" but you can't phone with it or anything else. Maybe it is too old car. The car came with hand held unit from Motorola.
Ok, so I did some digging and found out, that cars, which have SIM card slot are only capable of connecting to a Bluetooth headset, which should be located under an armrest. There's no way of connecting Bluetooth to your phone.
Hi I have a 2006 BMW 530xi That currently has no sound at all. my idrive Radio works fine but no volume the car was missing the satellite radio so I purchased a used one & hooked it up an nothing happened my SOS was still on so i purchased a optic fiber loop and put it on the satellite radio optic fiber & the SOS went away! But I still have no sound🤦♀️ i looked into my bluetooth an i cant click the tab to turn it on if the Bluetooth module is bad could that be the reason I have no sound or the amplifier is more & likely bad? Please respond!

Great video pal, question for you, I bought a 2008 e61, has the buttons on the steering wheel to answer calls etc but on idrive I cannot find Bluetooth at all, is Bluetooth standard on those models or could it just not have it, also the video about the ticking from hydraulic lifts worked perfect for me, that really bugged me
No problem mate you should have put this comment on my ticking one mate lol I have to much negative people on there And no mate not all E60 E61 are fitted with bluetooth some have the Bluetooth ready but need to be coded in and programmed

Dean doctor! Loving the vids mate, I’ve got a 2004 e60 530d, mute icon on dash, no chimes or sounds at all. Have checked all fuses, amp etc but no luck. When I try to adjust bass/treble etc it doesn’t let me, Bluetooth showing tick but does not let me change. All radio and cd work just no sound coming out. I’m baffled. Been told it could be radio itself or requires update, mute button is ok too. Any advise is appreciated. Thank you
Hi good morning i have a 2006 E60 M Sport i cant understand why on i drive it has blue tooth which i cant click the box and with further to your excellent video ive found the module in the boot and it does not have blue tooth facility good job i never went to the expense of ordering one would of been complete waste of money , on a car that has got top spec i would of thought it would have blue tooth facility :( :(.

Hello Doctor :) I have a faulty bluetooth module on e60 2006 and i suspect it makes cutting out and reseting the computer. From the video i learned that is ULF ver1 so my question is will looping the optics with a most loop cable be enough so everything can work? I can see other cables there as well that go into the module maybe disconecting the power cable as well? Thank you for your answer :)

Hey doc, question. I JUST purchased the 2005 bmw 525i. My radio turns on. Works fine when the car is on battery mode with the car off. After about 5 minutes of driving. The radio and screen start to turn off, the music cuts out and comes back on.. it’s very annoying. Also, my screen says that the car can be shifter without pressing the brake. Is this all linked to the module that’s located in the trunk under the spare tire?? I haven’t seen if mine is located down there. I will today.
Soooo , question my bluetooth can not be found mulf2 high and bluetooth module looks OK, is there a test to check the bluetooth module like the mulf, mulf2 was easy to check the fiber optic signal red flash was present Weird thing tho my usb does not work it says "device not supported" Is that a symptom of something else? I heard you can try disconnect the b/t antenna from mulf and try search if you can find the car if it appears it's the antenna I can also tick the tick in the idrive menu

was having problems with cd and radio cutting out and bluetooth not working when i disconnected bluetooth module ...cd and radio came back perfect so got bluetooth module from e60 which was breaking for parts so reconnected module from breaker car which was exactly the same but still not working cant tick box does this have to be reprogrammed ?

Bluetooth activates and connects fine on e9x. However quality during calls is really bad the other side complains there is a lot of interference. Is there a fix for this?

Hi bmw doctor! Can u help? My bluetooth has stopped working. Idrive wont allow me to activate. Sos call system failure appears when I start the car. However I pressed the sos button and it called the emergency services? I was able to speak with them. Is this module or need update? Any help appreciated
When I click my idrive button in I see something completely different I only have a couple of options /settings I don’t even see Bluetooth but the moduals in the trunk

Hello guys, I bought a 2004 BMW 530D. It has I-drive and when I go to the bluetooth section it says it is activated but there is no tick in the box and it can't be ticked. My question is my bluetooth module (if it is the bluetooth module, it is in same place as this one on this video) has no bmw stickers on it, its just a metal box, also it only has 1 yellowish plug in the top and then a big plug in the bottom with a green and black wire next to it. Above the box it has the black connector with the green wires but thebox has no markings to aid getting a replacemement. any ideas?? please and thank you.
Hey Bud! I have a 2005 E60 and it has MULF1. In bluetooth menu it shows activated and the tick is there but can`t untick it, also no mobile can see the bluetooth module to be paired. Radio reception, TV reception and remote issues also. Do I have a problem only with diversity module or MULF too?
Hello guys and BMW Doctor. I have problem with my BMW E60 that I bought last year. Bluetooth working very good, but when the whether goes above 28-30 celsius degrees, my Bluetooth start to turn off and glitch out and restart my entire CCC on board computer? I am not 100% if that is because of the Blutooth , but seems to be that is the problem because I always detect before the glitches start (stop radio sound, pops and cracks, blinking display etc) the first that goes away is my antenna icon that represent the Blutooth connection. So if is this a common problem to the E60 models or I is exclusive to me only. Everything work working very well on the computer, until this bluetooth start doing this problems. Thank you guys in advance.

My 2004 530i has a module in the rear like that, but I have a lot less options on my idrive menu, no bluetooth or aux options. What would it take to set it up for atleast bluetooth? Updated idrive unit and module, I'm guessing?

My 2004 E60, professional navi: I can pair my Samsung S7 with the Bluetooth but completely no communication after that. I cannot use the Communication menu in iDrive at all. I had the phone under my armrest, but it is gone now. How can I use my Samsung to transfer sound to car speakers while having a call?

thanks mate and thats because people only care about watching my friend thats exactly why they don't care to subscribe they want help there and then and thats it once there problem is fixed they feel they don't need you anymore your problem mate its normal idrive always fails on these years due to the chips overheating and blowing the idrive system what I suggest is get yours repaired mate don't spend money on that Chinese rubbish mate its not good at all don't believe everything you see on these mate there not what they seem they run find for a week next thing they trigger alot of fault codes and then it stops working it causes battery drain aswell I would advise against it mate

Maybe try learninga bit about editing and maybe get a better camera,becouse people are visual beings,and thats why a lot of them are attracted to the certain thumbnails,plus good quality video will outshade a bad quality video unfortunatly no matter the contect at least it will to a lot of people. You will need it programmed to car and vin matched

Hi, i have bought BMW e87 2007 and it's missing the bluetooth module, i have the phone button on steering wheel and voice control so i know she had bluetooth, but it's also not showing nowhere in idrive system, so my question is where can i find bluetooth module and if i install it will it shows automatically on idrive ? thanks
Bluetooth activates and connects fine on e9x. However quality during calls is really bad the other side complains there is a lot of interference. Is there a fix for this?
Does anyone know where the damn satellite radio module is located in 2005 530i? I’ve looked everywhere for it and cannot find it. I’ve seen other videos that bypass it with a fiber optic loop but I can’t see where I can do it too.

Hi bmw doctor! Can u help? My bluetooth has stopped working. Idrive wont allow me to activate. Sos call system failure appears when I start the car. However I pressed the sos button and it called the emergency services? I was able to speak with them.
Is this module or need update?

my friend SOS will always work as it uses the phone under the armrest thats connected in the dock to call them

When I click my idrive button in I see something completely different I only have a couple of options /settings I don’t even see Bluetooth but the moduals in the trunk
Bmw e60 model, radio and other players sometimes die, you have to die the contract first then start again until it repeatedly until it sounds, what should be fixed
Hello guys, I bought a 2004 BMW 530D. It has I-drive and when I go to the bluetooth section it says it is activated but there is no tick in the box and it can't be ticked. My question is my bluetooth module (if it is the bluetooth module, it is in same place as this one on this video) has no bmw stickers on it, its just a metal box, also it only has 1 yellowish plug in the top and then a big plug in the bottom with a green and black wire next to it. Above the box it has the black connector with the green wires but thebox has no markings to aid getting a replacemement. any ideas?? please and thank you.

Hey Bud! I have a 2005 E60 and it has MULF1. In bluetooth menu it shows activated and the tick is there but can`t untick it, also no mobile can see the bluetooth module to be paired. Radio reception, TV reception and remote issues also. Do I have a problem only with diversity module or MULF too?

Hello guys and BMW Doctor. I have problem with my BMW E60 that I bought last year. Bluetooth working very good, but when the whether goes above 28-30 celsius degrees, my Bluetooth start to turn off and glitch out and restart my entire CCC on board computer? I am not 100% if that is because of the Blutooth , but seems to be that is the problem because I always detect before the glitches start (stop radio sound, pops and cracks, blinking display etc) the first that goes away is my antenna icon that represent the Blutooth connection. So if is this a common problem to the E60 models or I is exclusive to me only. Everything work working very well on the computer, until this bluetooth start doing this problems. Thank you guys in advance.

I have an 06 525d e60. Mine has a different module than urs so I’m assuming it’s just a ulf and not a ulf2. My question is can I just simply replace it with the same module or will it need coding in when I change it? Tia
It will need coding and programming to the car as they work in the most network the vin needs to be changed over
My 2004 530i has a module in the rear like that, but I have a lot less options on my idrive menu, no bluetooth or aux options. What would it take to set it up for atleast bluetooth? Updated idrive unit and module, I'm guessing?
A lot of headache coding and programming your better off with a device as I have shown in videos like the pure DAB

Doctor I have a problem woth bmw e61 525d 2005. My idrive sometimes works for 5days,than it doesnt for a day,than one day it will work the other it wont. You have any idea what should I look for,And can I buy Chinese Android to replace this screen,may it work then? Great videos btw,have no idea why you dont have more subscribers!

your problem mate its normal idrive always fails on these years due to the chips overheating and blowing the idrive system what I suggest is get yours repaired mate don't spend money on that Chinese rubbish mate its not good at all don't believe everything you see on these mate there not what they seem they run find for a week next thing they trigger alot of fault codes and then it stops working it causes battery drain aswell I would advise against it mate

Howere you have people like me that like cars and like to learn new things,thats why i subscribed and thats why I like you videos. No bs,straight to the point. Maybe try learninga bit about editing and maybe get a better camera,becouse people are visual beings,and thats why a lot of them are attracted to the certain thumbnails,plus good quality video will outshade a bad quality video unfortunatly no matter the contect at least it will to a lot of people. Good camera and some nice editing skills,and I can see you exploding in subs and views becouse the quality content is there it just needs a bit of refindment. 👍
