Most beautiful rendition I’ve ever heard. Soulful gorgeous voices, the blend, the arrangement I’ve never heard before. I love the Temps! Thank you for your great reaction!
My mother used to play this while preparing Christmas treats during the holidays, love your reaction. Brings back so many memories of my childhood. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Mr. MELVIN FRANKLIN on the bass. Rest In Peace Melvin, and all of the Temptations. Mr. [Dr.] Otis Williiams is still with us at age 82 performing with today's members of the Temptations. You would never think that he was 82. He's the one who actually put the group together when they were in their early, early twenties.
Great reaction, D! If you're wondering who the vocalists were and as followed: Eddie Kendricks (falsetto) Melvin Franklin (bass) Dennis Edwards (ad-libs) Paul Williams Otis Williams Thanks for reacting to it! The Temptations' version of Silent Night is the most popular version among many R&B fans. I have a few more songs you must react to before Christmas: A Few Good Men - Silver Bells New Edition - All I Want For Christmas (Is My Girl) Run DMC - Christmas In Hollis Wild Orchid - Merry Kris-Mix
Great reaction! This track is a classic!!! But ppl are incorrect thinking the falsetto on this track is Eddie Kendricks, it is not. He had already left the group when this came out in 1980. The falsetto singing lead is Glenn Leonard. Leonard also sang lead on “Give Love at Christmas”.
Thank you , Mr. Leonard sang that with tha falsetto tenor voice. I thought it was Mr. Eddie. Anyway no other race man, can sing " falserro tenor like a Black man!! This song is the best Ever, can't nobody top Black folks!!..
The most warm and relaxing rendition I have ever heard like a warm blanket your reactions are the best you always pick up the little things others miss happy holidays
I know that it is no longer Christmas. But, I sure hope that you react to the other (2) hits off this album. *Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer *The Little Drummer Boy I've subscribed with hopes that you react to them. It will be a treat to witness. Good luck on your channel.
Temptations absolutely did it the best! There is by far no comparison! We will never hear another Christmas song rendered like this ever again.
Most beautiful rendition I’ve ever heard. Soulful gorgeous voices, the blend, the arrangement I’ve never heard before. I love the Temps! Thank you for your great reaction!
Wow that is so beautiful. No one can sing like that anymore.
Absolutely beautiful rendition.
Great reaction. Melvin's bass is outstanding.
I’m 54 years old and this has been a staple at Christmas at my house since 1980.

They were teenagers!!
This is an almost perfectly produced recording. There are few song recordings that transcend the sum of their parts. This is one of them.
Great reaction, D! If you're wondering who the vocalists were and as followed:
Eddie Kendricks (falsetto)
Melvin Franklin (bass)
Dennis Edwards (ad-libs)
Paul Williams

The whole Christmas Album is fire...worth a listen!!
I going to be honest, this is the only version I know. 33 years, this is all I heard.
Amen!! Love the Temps!! Your reaction was wonderful!!
Think someone might’ve said it already but the falsetto is Glenn Leonard. I did used to think it was Eddie when I was younger though.
The most warm and relaxing rendition I have ever heard like a warm blanket your reactions are the best you always pick up the little things others miss happy holidays
Melvin Franklin studied music so he had a very good ear to hear to know which bass harmony to sing
The very best!!!
They black and they old-school that's why this all black people favorite Christmas
Dennis Edwards was on the lead or as many used to say was preaching the sermon with Eddie Kendricks singing soprano and Melvin Franklin with the bass.
That wasnt Eddie Kendricks, Glenn Leonard was the falsetto singing lead.
