Hello, your yard is really goals. You have inspired me so much and you ain’t never lied about all the rocks you will find in GA clay 😂 I have been using my pick axe and have found so many rocks to line my garden bed. 😂
Hi Arrah 🌺. You can plant Eucalybtus trees because of the water or put a pipe to drain the water . I planted 20 trees near the new stone wall and it's a wonderful gift for Christmas . Merry Christmas and a happy new year .🌟🎄🌟🎄🌟🎄 .
I’m with you on the grass, made me laugh haha. My yard is mostly clover, other weeds and then moss in the shade areas, who needs grass?! The honey bees definitely prefer our yard over the neighbors 😊
@therealsoutherngarden hi there and thanks. I've been mulling over the grass decision for quite a while. I really don't want to do it but the water situation is really bad. I'll definitely look into clover and see if it's something I could use. I naturally have a lot of moss on the shady wet side ..but the sloped sunny area is tough. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
Omg so glad I found you. I’m in Georgia also I’ve been trying to find other Georgia garden UA-camrs. I wish I had the amount of property you have. And your plans sound amazing. We are building me a greenhouse. I do a lot of propagation and seed starting but I can’t handle those nats in my house lol
@inspiringgardenkorner hello and thanks very much. I appreciate the positive feedback. I've been thinking about a greenhouse as well. I started out doing propagation but I have no patience, lol. I know it can be a money saver for sure. I'm on almost half acre but it's literally on a slope which can be challenging..i wish you well in the upcoming gardening season
there maybe some low growing herbs that you can plant that will kill the grass and benefit you for seasoning. Any type of thyme would work. Maybe test it out in a small area and see if you like it. Love your ideas. It is drought tolerant once established.
i made the rookie mistake of planting a hydrangea tree and a standard rose tree too close to emerald green hedge so i dug up the 2 trees and moved them. i am in memphis tn and i am on a 6 foot hill.

Hi , my first time. Great job! I've seen weed barrier used to cover the fence. And it looks good with reasonal price saving.
@BenjaminHibbler hi there and thanks. I've actually seen that somewhere. I'll definitely look more into it..anything to save money. Have a great day.

Perhaps you should look in to another type of ground cover, like creeping thyme, creeping phlox, or basket of gold, if you aren't a fan of grass.
Hi, New subscriber. Is the fence yours or your neighbor’s? It looked to cover the perimeter of your neighbor’s property.
Why don't you just do a chip drop... it's free and just put a bunch of mulch down. No cost to you.
I just did chip drop but I had to pay someone to move it into my yard. It's a lotta shoveling 😅
