Hi, I started using Chief Architect years ago and then I got into AutoCad for layouts like bathrooms and kitchens. But know I'm back to Chief Architect again, pretty much self thought, still lots to learn! Your video thought me some stuff i didn't know!
Thank you SO much! Is there a way to make the stairs outline show on the 1st level so it's on the blueprint? Right now it's only outlined in red using the layering tool. Thanks again!
Thanks for the training video! Do you think you could make a video on wall and floor construction/dimensions? I'm trying to make a basement - walls with footings - 10" of crushed stone (I don't know if that is part of the plans), 4" of hard insulation, 10 mil poly, 4" of concrete, no planking on top. I'd like 9' of clearance before any structure above. I"d like a 12" mid section cross beam and a 16" wood truss with 1 1/8" deck sheathing for the sub floor, some mass loaded vinyl and some luxury vinyl flooring. Then I wan 9' between the finished floor and the ceiling. Most of the videos I find say - let's make a 9' wall - no explanation of how the flooring or ceiling construction fit into that.
