Although By the late 80s, Japanese automakers like Toyota, Honda, and Nissan had already made a name for themselves in the US market with their reliable and affordable cars. Never had issues with my Toyotas, Hondas, Nissan through the years. Superb quality and reliability. Their track record is proven.

purchased Lexus ES330 in 2005, and still looks showroom new with 96k miles. always kept with the dealer maintenance schedules and never had any mechanical problems.

Yeah but the Japanese are dumb about making sports cars that can't compete and stop selling them…1993 Toyota
Supra made 320 hp and 25 yrs later 2024 Toyota supra is make 330 hp? That is dumb…this never happens with German cars….Every Japanese sports car makes the same mistakes over and over…
