Michael Zegen has grueling task of having to play fourth or fifth fiddle, considering how stacked the cast of the show is. But, he's brilliant. I've gone from hating Joel to loving him. Such a character arc. And, he doesn't pull the punches on his unlikable moments, I respect that. Also, Michael is so uniquely beautiful. I love his beauty mark and the gap between his teeth.
"Joel" looks like he was forcibly booked to appear. Kudos to the Interviewer who was energized and did his best... even if Joel preferred to hang out in the Catskills.
Must be Michael - I got a crush on him, cue Blossom Dearie! I really like him and want him to be happy and dare I say, get back with Midge...he's a terrific actor- I'm embarrassed to say I'd never seen him- well I watched Boardwalk Empire but my memory is bad...I love the scenes between Susie and Joel- I love Neil Simon too and the show I never missed when it ended- Friends, it was SO OBVIOUS NOBODY CARED, UNLIKE SEINFELD WHICH I STILL MISS. The Marvelous Mrs Maisel IS SOMETHING UNIQUE...I had stopped watching TV and most movies but this show, even the cinematography is special and memorable- BRAVA TO EVERYBODY INVOLVED- My partner thinks I am nuts because I talk about, "oh Joel said this and poor Susie dropped her pizza and Midge's hat was just too awful ( my humble opinion)" in short, I've moved in! IT AINT WHAT YOU DO, ITS THE WAY THAT YOU DO IT!
