    Why don't we cross out both the row and the column @ 4:49 since the supply and demand are now both zero? Why did you cross out only one of them?

    Is there any effect if the transportation model is maximisation?

      The general formulation of the transportation model is a minimization problem (minimizing the total cost) as shown in ua-cam.com/video/QzESRTsLnUk/v-deo.html if you are dealing with a maximization problem, you can always convert it into a minimization problem by taking the opposite (-z) of the objective function
