Day 22 - Port Arthur Historic Site/Remarkable Cave Tasmania - The Caravan Crew

Sorry for the delay with this one. It was a wait but it was worth it!
Today we explore Port Arthur Historic Site and what a place it is!
We start of by selecting a convict we try and find throughout the site. Then we make our way over to the The Commandant's House. It's there we listen to one of the free tours full of fascinating convict information.
We explore the Military Officer's Ruins before we jump on the boat and take a water tour of Port Arthur. We listen to another tour at The Penitentiary where the tour guide talks all about the cells and how The Penitentiary was built.
We highly recommend these talks guys - In fact if you time your day right, you can line up all the talks so they fill your entire day.
It's at The Penitentiary where Hannah had a nasty fall. She was a bit dazed and it took her a while to come good again. We move onto the Church and then the Separate Prison where we explore the Solitary Confinement cell. Next up was the Asylum before we explore the ruins of Government House, the Hospital. Our last stop at Port Arthur was as the Memorial Garden.
Port Arthur is such a wonderful place! So much history in the one place and certainly a great place to explore for all ages. Once we had finished at Port Arthur, we had a quick stop at Remarkable Cave before toasting marshmallows around the campfire.
