My original destination was actually closer to Tupper Lake, near Plattsburgh, but I got concerned about the trends in upper-level clouds in the high res models, so I decided to take my family farther east into Vermont to reduce the risk of clouds. I'm glad people in northern NY were able to see it as well. Since you saw it, I'm sure you've noticed no video or picture will ever do it justice.
