She's leaving? Where'd you get this information? If she is, I guess she was only a touring member but yeah, she felt like a part of the band. She always mentioned that she wanted to focus on her solo career, so thats probably why.
I too was not aware of this news. I've been a fan of these guys for as long as I can remember, seen em a bunch of times, got all the albums on cd and vinyl and, in fact, 'Louisa' was our first dance song at my wedding! Couple things: as far as Misty leaving, I have to be honest, I never felt she brought much to the band. I don't think it's a huge loss in anyway whatsoever to the band, and good for her if she is focusing on her solo career. Second, does anybody have any live recording of 'Louisa' anywhere? There is only one that I can find on UA-cam (live show from Berkley, Calif or something from four or five years back and it's not the best quality), but the band NEVER plays it. Which, brings me to the third comment...they never seem to deviate from the set list. Like I said, I've seen them a handful of times and the setlist is always pretty predictable. Not complaining as I absolutely love this band, but I wish they mixed it up a little more with the live shows. One of the things that I am looking forward most to, once all of the social distancing and quarantine is over, is seeing live music and LH is atop that list!
@@satyre_1 I know and that is why I nearly had a stoke! watching it! They NEVER play it. Aside from a lousy recording from a live show four years ago, it is nowhere to be found! Even the version on the "Alive From Whispering Pines" hasn't popped up on youtube yet!
I have found that I LOVE about half of this album and don't love the other half. One or two I cannot listen to. But that could change. I love them so much that the other songs will probably grow on me. This song is amazing. I have just sat and listened to 3 versions of it.
@@KGarvey125 I agree, this is definitely my favorite from Vide Noir. The whole album is amazing but I'm the same way where I don't really listen to a few of them. It took me a couple listens to get into the other songs but this one gave me chills from the start
Dude, just because the vocals aren't perfect doesn't mean this live version is terrible. Everything is on point, the bass and drum rythm, the guitars and backround vocals. Its not fair to make a comparison to a recording where they have potentially hundreds of takes for all the tracks.
@@ancientnames1275 my bad youre right. WOW tHiS Is gReAT ExCePt FoR tHe VoCaLs which are absolute dogshit (just like all of their other live performances) and drown out absolutely everything else and make my ears bleed. but great drums WOW
@@bpayne88, you're missing the point of a live performance. Its supposed to entertain you, you're not there for a perfection. Plus this performance is much better than their other performances. Ben isn't the best singer and you're wrong to think this performance is terrible, you're just comparing it to an unfair medium. Have a good day, because I ain't giving you the satisfaction, troll.
@@ancientnames1275 He certainly isn't. I still enjoy their albums, it's just a let down that their performances on there aren't "real." They obviously rely a ton on editing for actual albums. Sorry that I don't enjoy objectively bad performances. What a lunatic, right?
That chorus bassline is addicting!
This is the soundtrack of interdimensional travel.
More up temp then the studio version. I prefer it slower
@@BrianCarnevaleB26 i’m sure you’ve heard the Alive from Whispering Pines version by now? it’s next level
Crazy how some of the best bands and tracks have the lowest amount of views. Guys deserve to be at the top!

That baritone riff is so sick, the tone is so juicy too
So dope. Ben seems like such a cool guy to chill with,
This is greatness. Real instruments. Real good taste. 50’s vibe.
World ender vibes
"And I try to remember, the words you spoke when you summoned the Ender." This is connected to that song
Think of vide noir as a sequel to Strange Trails
Best Version of this song I've ever heard
same, as well as the Alive from Whispering Pines version :)
They are without a doubt, the hottest band ever
Best album of the year so far. Great work!
Spectacular as always! 🔮
Wonderful!! Love when he starts dancing haha :)
Elvis vibes
This was my 2nd most played song on my Spotify Wrap-up. My biggest regret of the year was it not being #1. For shame.
Insane. They are spectacular
Love this song wtf where did these guys come from?
They're childhood friends from Michigan
Hence the “Huron” moniker.
I am in deep dark love with Ben.
Me too I thought I was the only one
One of the most talanted bands I've ever heard!!!!
Aw I’m gonna miss Misty! She felt like part of the band.

Lick My Sweetroll she was just touring with them. I follow her on social media and she posted about her last show in flagstaff

The song of redemption!

Jesus, he is so beautiful. Inside and out
Sometimes i dances all night to this songs
Just an amazing band, on another level artistically!
THIS IS PERFECT PERIOD
This song feels like my life in the most indiscernible way
I fucking love this song
The guitarist that is playing the solo is not the one they are recording :///
You told me you're never gonna die
How am I supposed to sleep through the night?
On a positive note, it means he can't sleep. May be to spend time with her/him?
me during every proper psychedelic trip i’ve had hahah

ancient names (part1) and when the night is over are also up there for sure!
👌
I knew this beat sounded familiar. She Wants Revenge - Tear You Apart. Good beat either way.
For normal playback speed 0.85x
Are they playing it faster than on the cd?
💙
Song is way better live!
God this band does not make a bad song!!! Period ❤And Casey Afflec can sing his ass off 😂
brasil 2024?
He sounds like a nervous Dwight Yoakam. But like in a good way.
