Tap Tag button = Character's 2nd special move (Main character only)
Hold Tag button while standing/moving = Switch between characters (will refer to this as Switch from now). Switching from sub to main character makes you invincible, but switching from main to sub doesn't. If you get hit during your switching animation, you lose 50% of your support meter. (character will still get swapped)
Switch after melee attack = follow up melee attack, swaps your character, consumes 25% support meter, launch the opponent (judging from all 4 trial characters)
Switch after melee attack in aerial state = same as above but doesn't launch opponent
Switch after projectile attack = follow up projectile attack, swaps character, consumes 25% support meter
Switch after Spell card = follow up spell card, swaps character, consumes 25% support meter (you must duo declare your spellcard first)
(Directional input) + tap tag button = Support attack from sub char. doesn't consume support meter, swaps back to your main after the attack, disables your support actions temporarily. (Main character only)
(During block animation) Switch = Swaps sub character in, stuns opponent if they're in range (very short range). Costs all support meter. No damage dealt to opponent. (Main character only)
When playing sub character with 0 support meter, if she gets hit, main character will instantly swap in.
Sub character's block can be broken and they'll enter a guard break state if they block too many attacks without swapping back to main character. (Sub character only)
Last Word (Only main character can activate last word):
Costs all support meter and both Spell card meter
Disables all action that involves the tag button after casting until next round
Sub character cannot be used until next round
Sub character's spell card meter is gone until next round

I forgot to put these 2 in:
There's another way to get purple magatamas (not in the video).
Did you know that if you hit the enemy while their projectiles are out, their projectiles will disappear? Now their projectiles will turn into purple magatamas instead. (different projectiles give different amount of purple magatamas)
Also purple magatamas drop everytime you manage to land a counter hit.
I forgot to edit this in, but I thought "Oh well I'll just edit it in with annotations" but it turns out annotations is no longer available so yeah sry about that lel

Its kinda hard to find info on how to play this game...i still dont even know basic controls, like directonal moves n stuff, but atleast i learned alot about the tag system.

Also i think purple gauge won't regenerate if you use slave

press the change character button & the forward button depending on the direction your facing while the master is still using their spellcard

I can't do the second spellcard thing. After I finish the spellcard with the main, a press "a" and it changes to the sub without doing the spellcard (i did declare it right tho)

This may seem a little bit stupid
But what do you have to do to summon a slave in a combo?
Use your combo and when the combo is ending click A and keep doing the combo
Are there any versions where I could use tag mechanic?
to use special do you need to press z and x at the same time? or you press z and x c?
the controls changed when they release the game, and it changes again after they release the first patch so I imagine it's different from what I know
you can see the controls if you pause
nah I figured it out you have to press all of z and x c the only thing im not really good at is the controls not the basics tho and the combos and stuff
