Cleansing and Purification Online Imbolc Ritual

An Imbolc Ritual to sit by the holy waters in our inner imaginal sanctuary, cleansing and purifying old bumps and hurts to strengthen the connection to our sacred Inner Child.
If you are able and if you choose, please have the following for the ritual. It is not absolutely necessary. If you choose to participate in a more meditative than active way that is absolutely fine.
* Items that help connect to the Inner Child around ages 3 - 6, including photographs of self as a child.
* Containers or little bottles of water (from sacred sources, local waters or pristine melted snow) if you have any.
* Candles (a variety for decoration - different from the orange one below to be used as part of the activity)
* Statues or photos of those deities associated with sacred springs or rivers; Spring or maiden goddesses; goddesses of love and beauty; a statue or photo of Brigid, if you want
* An image of the Loving Hynni of Ebb and Flow
* A fresh unused candle (orange, if you want to align with Hynni)
* A lighter
* A cauldron
* Water
* 12 - 15 reed strands (pipe cleaners can be used instead)
* Optional: Candle snuffer
* Optional: A cup of loose leaf tea or Tea Leaf Fortune Cards
Have your space (a table or altar) set up before we begin. In setting it up:
1. On the left, set up an homage to your Inner Child
2. On the right side, set the cauldron or a bowl filled with water
3. Place the fresh, unused candle and reeds (or pipe cleaners) in the centre
4. Decorate the rest of the altar as you wish
In honour of the Celtic Goddess Brigid, we will be making Brigid's Crosses, however instead of the usual 4-armed version, we will be crafting the 3-armed version.
