OK!! Looks like I got this one right!
Thanks for your patience... and diligence. :)
I’m digging this a lot. Post apocalyptic, utilitarian, unapologetically rough around the edges. I’m in for the ride.
keep up the great work. I bought a 1976 cb750k a few months back and I've been using your videos to keep the restoration moving along
Awesome! Good luck with the project!
Always enjoy your bike build videos and pretty well learn something everytime I watch.
Looks good. I think a 70’s/early eighties parallel twin in 500cc or less with minimal electronics is the perfect post apocalyptic or just around town roamed with kickstart is perfect. I need one now. Going to start looking for a project bike like this soon.
Hey Dean, I got a 76cb 550f here in aussie, your videos have been awesome
What a change! WOW nice.
XL250/350 parts are mostly interchangeable with CB parts of the era. Upgrading ignition system is a must.
ROY FERNTORP hey Roy do u know what kind of aluminum wheels are? Where do I find it ...
The later 250 singles had spoked aluminium rims. They eventually went to cast wheels.
Hey Dino, would you ever consider doing any mods? I'll gladly port and polish the head on that bike for free if you ship it to me i'll even pay to ship it back just for fun and ad a few HP more to the bike. I'm very good at it.
Hi! is the exact "Part One" than I saw yesterday... (Now I understand why there were two "part One")
Love your bike vids.
Its a very hard Job when u till alone this heavy Engine in the Frame. This is not good for your back u know? Why have u not a little Crane for this Work?Very nice clean Garage Dean!
Hi , nice wheels , what kind of aluminum wheels are? Here do I find then?
hi do you know where i can buy crankcase bearings for a honda cb 650 rc03
You just made pupa purée😄
1:15 leave the fork tubes long and use an offset riser for your bar. Why? Two advantages: you retain access to your fork caps, and you have all that tube for ride height adjustment. Since you say Road Warrior-esque at 1:55, long fork tubes also give you the option of using high and wide clip ons. Yeah, a little weird for an on-off road bike, but why not? If you're pretending you're scaving parts for it from the wastes, that might be all you could find B-)
3:30: I effing DESPISE dirt dauber wasps.
5:32: Eeny meeny miney med, catch an engine by its head, if you drop it it'll break your toe, eeny meeny miney moe.
So the rear hoop is clamped in? And you're planning to make some panniers for it? OK, OK, I got it: MODULARITY. Work up some kind of quick disconnect, bend a couple new hoops, and go crazy. Your ammo can panniers on one, some kind of cargo rack on another, a machine gun mount... okay I'm a bit short on practical ideas but how cool would it be to have those panniers on a frame hoop you could just slide out and replace with an unencumbered one in seconds? Or just being able to pull off your "bags" and take them with you, like much newer, more expensive and larger touring bikes! B-)
Grand idea!
Hi, from what I can remember the letter t after the number is stating how many cylinders are on the bike. But I could be wrong.
It was for the front disc brake model.
I had a 74' 360G
Hi Dino, I need to know if the fiberglass tank you build for the Sabre still holding, if so what kind of resin did you used, thanks
It held in the places where I mixed it right!! I made a bad mistake. I was mixing by weight NOT by volume! Consequently some of the layers softened, came apart and leaked. I pulled the tank and destroyed it. If I HAD mixed it right, I have every reason to believe that it would have held up fine. I may try again someday, perhaps on this build.
Dean Segovis thanks Dino, I had to destroy mine, the resin melt down and mix with the gas and make a mess inside carbs, valve stems etc., I am rebuilding it but this time I' ll poor Kreem gas tank liner inside, keep it up!!
u kindof look like starman hiimself..ziggy
What happened to the Ducati?
If the frame didn't need painted it must do now.
Hey I've been a subscriber for a year or two..... I happen to own a large used motorcycle parts eBay store called gsmess. Have a look on there and see if any of my parts will help make your bike go!
What is the name of your startune please
Time for a haircut. You are starting to look like that crazy old man who lives in his garage.
Would someone explain the rear wheel "missing suspension" ?
It's missing the rear shocks/springs. Hence the PVC pipe bolted in their place to hold the rear swing arm and wheel where he wants them to be.
He is using a different real wheel and probably using a different swing arm. Real suspension will como later on.
Thanks Seb for the info! Let us see how "Hack" makes the 360 run free!!!
reupload !!
