I got mine on Saturday and I am SO happy about this phone. It is beautiful, inside and out. I've installed a cool theme as well to make everything look more elegant! The only thing I have to do now is wait for the cases and the screen protector. :)

Sean, I ordered mine from ebay. It is much cheaper and you have a lot of different ones to choose from. I ordered a screen protector for the back and front + cases. Just search for it and it pops up :)

Aeons of Blight Yes it has stayed on very well. It's a bit annoying because it's not wide enough, but it has to be that way because of the edge. I don't care too much, it's better to be on the safe side. I do recommend buying tempered glass instead of plastic ones. It feels better & doesn't scratch as easily. :)

I've noticed a huge decrease in my iPhone 4's performance over the past few months and will definitely be picking up an s7 when I feel that an upgrade is needed.

if you want to have it for more than a year id recommend just getting an iphone androids never last very long performance gets very very slow and battery life sucks ass after a year and a half (been team android for almost 4 years now)

It does not happen often, but this 'know it all' learned something new. The Do Not Disturb menu choice on my Canadian Rogers S7 Edge was not visible unless I searched for it.

Thanks, Droid Life! Many of the pointers, ESECIALLY for the bloatware and deleting or adding panels. Not to mention, more in-depth instructions about the Do Not Disturb feature and the themes. Many of the others, I found out on my own by simply playing with the phone, which I always do, once I get one. I stumbled across that finger print feature. It's really cool.

How durable is this phone or the edge? I still have my Note 2 since is came out and I have never used a case. Ive dropped my phone 4 times in one day before so I'm worried the glass on this phone will shatter.
Uriel Ramirez Just going by comments online, not very durable at all. I'm getting a tech21 frame case. There's a video of a guy dropping his phone 3 stories up with it on asphalt and it just scratches the phone. Also I'd buy it from a reputable seller as on amazon I swear they are selling cheap fakes.

Thank you for doing this video. I installed my SD card in my phone and it works great. I have also learned some new settings on my phone.
My original S7 Edge i still own and still use from brand new late 2016 has been recently flashed with Linage 16.0 because the factory software update soft bricked it so it was about time i made it mine to control every aspect of it and also upgraded the sd card from 4gb to 32gb and replaced its factory battery as it started to bulge and cracked the back glass in the process so i replaced that and much happier with it.
Im getting the S7 for Christmas, 7 days left!

Mycatis42 Yeah, I'm not really impressed with the S8. For one, I actually prefer the flat screen models over the edge models, and I prefer a physical home screen button. I also heard that it can fold (wtf?) and doesn't have a headphone jack. S7 is more appealing imo.

Hello Sir, I hope you see this and answer me please. What them do you have I need that Dark mode all around as I can't see nothing on white back ground some LG's offer you with the phone settings. I have been enabling negative colors all the time but it distort other things like pictures and graphics. Also do you have to sign up with Samsung account to get themes?

Yes, I really needed to know how to turn it on. I finally saw a video on how, but I forgot now since its been on since I first turned it on. I think you may have to push and hold the big silver button in the front but it also might be the single black button on the side or you have to hold the one button and quickly toggle-press one of the other buttons. I'm not sure how to turn it off.

Get an Iphone? Now why the hell would I do that? iphones suck in just about every way compared to my new s7 super phone. I don't see any button labeled as power button. Are you sure its not the big silver one? Usually power buttons are the most pronounced on a device. I use the big silver one to take it out of standby mode.

Mine was not appearing either. You can search for it in the top right of the settings page though and it will show up

The first thing I do is Disable more than 100 Bloatware with a tool "BK Package Disabler Samsung" (NO ROOT requires) on "Google Play". It make my phone run faster and improve battery life

Much to like, but having seen this video, I'm reminded of how much there is to like on this side of the fence as well. Next phone may well be an S7.
I have a SD card in mine. small amount of storage for someone who likes alot of apps and photos etc. my phone is JAM packed and obviously takes a lot outta the battery. if I get a bigger SD card, will it make the battery life last longer?
