I just got my shipping confirmation yesterday so I'm excited to receive mine soon. Even though I'm not interested in Vita emu I still really appreciate the video because I downloaded the turnip driver you suggested from one of your other videos...and completely forgot about it! Your videos have been extremely enjoyable to watch with not only your advice but your spot on humor as well. Your videos are a spotlight for the day. Thanks!

@RyanRetro1 so they went by playstation tv in the us. They are vitas that were meant specifically to be played on the television. So no screen. If you modded it you could install your games to a external HD instead of the micro SD or proprietary SD card but you still have those options.
@RyanRetro1 oh yea the vita has an insane community of people that still make original games and ports that shouldn't even exist. Like deadspace mobile, cup heads, the conduit hd and more. Persona 4 golden is definitely one of the ones I want to play. Yes! Persona 4 looks too fast, it might be sped up with a hack? It runs much slower usually. Persona 4 golden is one of my favorite games on that console. The other games I want to play is on the compatibility list you linked yay! I think the reason SAO was less smooth was because it's newer. Persona came out in 2012 and SAO 2016. Ideally I want my RP5 to run all of the games I like to play in one device. Turnip drivers just seem to do better in most games. There are some games where the Qualcomm drivers do better (can't think of any off the top of my head but there have been one or two) so it's just nice to have choices

Vita emulation is... an adjustment. Not all games with the green mark will work on Android since it pulls from the PC compatibility list (with some of those entries being deceptive or straight up wrong), getting the games may require decrypting them with Vita3K on the PC or an actual Vita and getting them to show up in a launcher requires putting special files in the rom folder for it. Some of the more game breaking bugs can be corrected by using custom turnip drivers - like Borderlands 2's lack of textures - but the effect on performance they can have is very hit or miss. But once everything is setup, it can be a very painless experience ^^
when i was looking up top game lists and asking people their favorite games for vita and wiiu it seemed like the best games were remasters of games from older systems so i just gave up on them and havent bothered with it haha
@ beautiful console, I have had like 4. Vita exclusives aren’t really anything special but the PSP and PS1 emulation is perfect on it. The dpad and buttons on the Vita are the best.
@@elunico13lu Here i disagree. I remember comparing the amount of amazing exclusive to my friend's 3DS and Vita was on top Gravity rush, Killzone mercenaries, Muramasa rebirth, Mutant blob attack, Severed, Wipeout 2048, Guacamelee Freedom wars, Little big planet vita, Uncharted, Tearaway, Soul sacrifice delta , Oreshika... these alone were full exclusive and freaking great. And both Velocity games...best modern shooters EVER. Man Sound shape...music plateformer to the core...amazing stuff TxK Then with Silent hill origins ( released originally here ) Spelunky, Capcom vs marvel3 ( for the lucky that got it before they removed it ) Persona 4 golden ( 1st on vita ), Rayman origins and legends ( both so much better than wii and wiiu ), Sly 4, Zero escape (best on vita ), Ys 7, and all Y3d before other released. Dragon crown as well debuted on Vita...what a game And the Dangarompa or Disgaea series...some were exlcusives... Amazing And for the nostalgic of the PS2, MGS trilogy, GOW origin collection, Sly collection, Ratchet collection, Daxter collection ( Jak1 & 2 were not ultimate port though ), FF x/x-2, even Borderlands 2 was a freaking amazing port.... And all the perfect ports of the indies like Limbo, Olli olli, Terraria, Fez, Rogue legacy, Hotline miami, Undertale.... If you add the PS1/PSP ( double stick was just perfect at the time for PSP ) To be honest, i found the Vita exceptional as a gaming system, and the games were all over the place...only one factor made people think it was no game, it is the KNOWN licenses and BIG NAMES missing in action... As a pure gamer stand point, Vita trumped the 3DS
Do I have a vita and am not going to use my RP5 for vita emulation? Yes. Did I still watch the video? Yes.

I was wondering why some of the 'green' games weren't working - thanks for the information!
That's the issue I'm having with borderlands 2 the textures are rainbowy
when i was looking up top game lists and asking people their favorite games for vita and wiiu it seemed like the best games were remasters of games from older systems so i just gave up on them and havent bothered with it haha
Fair!
Modding a Switch has been the hardest thing I've done like this, and maintaining it with firmware updates is a nightmare.
I always wanted a modded Switch but the ones here in Korea are all too new to be modded. They look like a great device to have!
Switch Emulation plz
I've been emulating since I was a kid, so many years now...and I can't get vita3k working lol
It was very tricky
wow that vita3k emulator really does look janky to navigate ; ; at least the games run decently
It's very janky! After you get it all set up, you shouldn't have to deal with it much more after that.
Just buy a Vita and mod it. You'll be surprised what you can do with it.
You just better off buying a vita. Can be hacked in like 5 minutes
I am thinking of purchasing a brand new Vita OLED with SD card through SD2VITA adapter
@ beautiful console, I have had like 4. Vita exclusives aren’t really anything special but the PSP and PS1 emulation is perfect on it. The dpad and buttons on the Vita are the best.
@@elunico13lu Here i disagree. I remember comparing the amount of amazing exclusive to my friend's 3DS and Vita was on top Gravity rush, Killzone mercenaries,
Muramasa rebirth, Mutant blob attack, Severed, Wipeout 2048, Guacamelee
Freedom wars, Little big planet vita, Uncharted, Tearaway, Soul sacrifice delta , Oreshika... these alone were full exclusive and freaking great.
And both Velocity games...best modern shooters EVER.
Man Sound shape...music plateformer to the core...amazing stuff
TxK
Then with Silent hill origins ( released originally here ) Spelunky, Capcom vs marvel3 ( for the lucky that got it before they removed it ) Persona 4 golden ( 1st on vita ), Rayman origins and legends ( both so much better than wii and wiiu ), Sly 4, Zero escape (best on vita ), Ys 7, and all Y3d before other released.
Dragon crown as well debuted on Vita...what a game
And the Dangarompa or Disgaea series...some were exlcusives... Amazing
And for the nostalgic of the PS2, MGS trilogy, GOW origin collection, Sly collection, Ratchet collection, Daxter collection ( Jak1 & 2 were not ultimate port though ), FF x/x-2, even Borderlands 2 was a freaking amazing port....
And all the perfect ports of the indies like Limbo, Olli olli, Terraria, Fez, Rogue legacy, Hotline miami, Undertale....
If you add the PS1/PSP ( double stick was just perfect at the time for PSP )
To be honest, i found the Vita exceptional as a gaming system, and the games were all over the place...only one factor made people think it was no game, it is the KNOWN licenses and BIG NAMES missing in action... As a pure gamer stand point, Vita trumped the 3DS
Second
not going to bother with vita. pain
I think a lot of people are in the position of selling their vita for this system so it’s good to know if you will have to give up the games too
It's definitely some hard work required to get this running. Now I discovered a good driver for it, I'm going to test more games.
