I'm gunna try this recipe: I use a lightning fast method that hasn't let me down yet: "Boil kettle, mix 1 cup milk powder+2 cups boiling hot water. Immediately stir in 2 tbsp vinegar, stir very gently until curdled, drop in a few ice cubes directly to the mix to cool quickly, strain through fine mesh strainer and press a little whey out, transfer to bowl, season with salt+msg and stir 2 tbsp cream to be fancy. Faster to make than a decent cup of tea, tastes better than most of the store-bought stuff, plus can easily be made into blocks of Paneer instead."

You dont find the powdered milk gives it a funny taste? Haven't been able to stomach the powdered stuff since - or perhaps due to - my army days
