- Resolve takes a look at the LETSHUOER Cadenza 12, which is a high end flagship in-ear headphone. In this video he compares it to other high end IEMs like the 64 Audio tia Trio and U12t, and discusses the merits of neutral vs more flavor oriented tunings in the high end audio space.

Thanks @Resolve for doing a review of these IEM!
These look really cool! It's refreshing to see a neutral all rounder iem at this price instead of some crazy or specific tuning. I'll be shuoer to check them out! Great review as always.
❤❤❤❤❤
I had the chance to try these and for my daily Coltrane listening they sound extremely good. I'm not an IEM guy but they sounded really good. Great review Andrew
I love them as well. That balance across the frequency is rarely found in TOTLs, at least on what I have tried. 😇
We need a follow-up video by DMS to explain all the jargon Resolve is talking about.
You mentioned about seeking the perfect sound, not just competent. At which point do you think it starts being more about what you want in sound than just technical performance improvements? Any IEMs that could show that better?
Hi
Can I ask a question about DAP's Bluetooth Codec setting?
I am using Astell & Kern DAP, which one is better between LDAC - audio quality optimization and LDAC - connection quality optimization?
Thanks in advance
We're still missing the Kia Cadenza from being mentioned, there are so many
I appreciate it but there's been no change - there are no plans at this time to return in any way on this platform
I can assure you having two IEM name Cadenza is pure coincidence
How can it have more than one driver? I thought it works like an overear just smaller?
Cadenza vs ODIN? Any advise?
I'm curious: when you seat an IEM on the 5128, do you do multiple measurements with different seatings and keep just one good seal or do you try to find multiple good sealing positions and average multiple measurements?
Multiple. Seal is tricky for shouer
@@TheHEADPHONEShow try holding them with your hands during the measurement, should get rid of the kink in the bass. Also you can use pink noise + RTA to find the optimal position.
@@lunafag No we do - actually I find using the small foam tips makes it generally a lot easier to measure with the pinna.
Check Spirit Torino Twin Pulse, similar neutral tuning with superb technicalities but slightly more natural sound with more euphoric qualities due to the dynamic beryllium driver use. Sounds like a better tuned Verite Open in IEM shape. „Only“ 1k.
C12 is great, here’s to hoping it stays relevant down the road.
Thanks Resolve! Does the Cadenza lack character compared to the U12T?
Not a lot, just... A bit more neutral in general.
Are you guys gonna review 64 audio U4S?
Precog posted a written review
Thank you for this review Andrew, they look nice but I've got to say, they are way out of my budget 🤣
"Highly competent ultra budget best bang-for-the-buck value king flavor of the month hype train stuff"
- Andrew, 2023
And it's let's shower, of course. That's the primary use case.
My favorite statement of the video here...."It doesn't have Waifus".
ThanksMuch!.
$2300 USD …..for an iem …not for me.
I’ll stick with my current IEM’s stable..and enjoy great music..but it’s nice to know that , like a Patek watch or a Zonda car exist .
Btw, I’ve topped out my iem stable with the Moondrop Variations.
@@susokraut3169 save your money , go out for a nice dinner and enjoy the music.😁
@@carminedesanto6746 You invest into what you value. I would have no hesitation dropping $2k for a iem if it made me appreciate the enormous array of genres I listen to even more for exactly the technicalities they have in their different musicianship and audio engineering. If you listen to music without that appreciation, then no, something like variations is all you need.
@@carminedesanto6746 lesser headphones will make genres sound more generic of eachother. If you listen to an extremely technical range of music, you will value something like this over a variation, because it will more correctly demonstrate those differences. If you demand that you know how the technicalities of violin being recorded, then there is no diminishing returns, as it can only get closer to correctly replicating it. Obviously that isn't everyone, but the value is absolutely there for those that do despite is cost.
For me the bass shelf is good for people who like that subwoofer style experience, whereas a glide is closer to live performances
Depends on the concert. If you go to a big concert in a stadium, the bass will be bigger and deeper. If you go to a concert in the park, there will be less bass, it's normal. Normally the music heard in life is warmer and bassier, so the Cadenza's bass shelf is too low.
@@karolkedzierski5824 good point, I would say an un-amped concert as once you introduce powered speakers chances are there is some EQ involved
Its not a bass boost. Its a transfer function. You people need to quit calling it a “bass boost” . Its called the physics of acoustics.
Review 64 audio u4s
I can’t help but wonder what you’re really paying for with these uber-expensive IEMs. Materials aside, I wonder if there’s such a thing as an “expensive” tuning. There are so many really good IEMs that are a third to half the price of these Cadenzas that use really good drivers and equally good tunings but when you start getting up in the $2k range, I’m not really sure if you’re getting anything that’s noticeably better. I also wonder if it might be a placebo effect going on here as well. I’m sure if I put a $2k pair of IEMs in my ears, it’ll be the best sound ever! 😊 And I may come up with a whole new audiophile vocabulary to describe what I’m hearing because of the cost.
Still, I hope to have a chance to hear IEMs in this price range just to satisfy my curiousity.
From my experience with Empire Ears Zeus XIV, I only spend upwards of $2k to get something with really unique tuning that literally changes how my music usually sounds in other IEMs while still retaining top tier technical performance.
I personally don't see the reason to spend more than $1k on something neutral since there are a lot of sub $500 with such tuning and also have competent technicalities.
i believe you spelled LETSHUOER wrong
Well I'll remain with my "not that Cadenza" which is awesome.
It certainly is!
Suggest me a basshead iem plz
Fatfreq mini maestro. Fiio FHE if you want to spend less. Also, Focus EDM
@@jasonbhatnagar7134 I personally own the Focus is super veiled unless EQ'd but responds well to EQ
64 audio Nio, IER Z1R
Ikko oh10 if you want some budget
new 7hz legato..
I want to get these, but man It's hard finding something that sounds better than the Ikko OH7 ...... I have owned many in the thousands and they cannot beat the coherence and details and Bass oh and let's not forget the comfort of the OH7 ......nothing ....the sound is astonishing and I can't figure out how they did it with a single DD .......Perhaps this could be the reason behind why OH7 makes the instruments sound absolutely beautiful - sensuously and elegantly draws the music where its sound may come by to you in an easy, placid manner that soon grasps you stronger and stronger as you gradually discover the adroit charms. If deep bass, grand headroom, and emo highs are the types of your taste, this little piece of in-ear instruments will be your must-have.
I pronounce it closer to Letcher or Letscher.
Apparently it is pronounced as "Let - Shaw - Err" or "Shaw - Err"
No bass
No waifu
No buy.
I need a super expensive iem with waifu.
Just watch anime lol
Just buy a dac with a waifu
I suggest you getting a pair of bassy CIEM then with an engraved faceplate. If still lacking in bass, grab urself a 75ohm adapter + iFi dac/amp with XBass
Closet waifu lover 😂
Pass.
That 5k is what I expect from $20 IEMs, not $2k IEMs.
it's "lets heeeeaarrr" Chinese thought they were clever.
$2300? Lol!
This damn good, high class musical. Try it don’t have to buy, get the feel of it.
Very cool looking IEM. I am stoked to try it. nEeDs MoRe BaSs hehehehehe jk I like neutral tunings too, I swear!
Party Mix monster this isn't. Still works with metal tracks for me though
@@letshuoer I could see it being great for lots of my music tbh
I hear $2,000 and I’m out.
Get a job
@@jameskegen6812 I work 2 jobs and still won’t swing 2 bills on a iem. Mest MK II and Monarch MK II and both cheaper and sound amazing enough. Thanks.
I'm sorry but there is no IEM worth spending 2300 bucks on. just ridiculous.
haha don't be sorry. It is crazy that any IEM or headphone would be that expensive. But things are priced at what the market will tolerate - these are luxury goods, and for some people it will be what they want.
It is ig your income is great enough that such an investment is as equivalent as a $500 iem to you. If you poor then know that and live in your poverty instead of using projection.
Luxury goods doesn't care about the question how much money it'll cost you. It's either you can afford it and guaranteed a higher exclusivity. These kind of items tend to have good resale value too compared to lesser market.
It's an IEM for people too lazy to use EQ.
Or else save your money and buy a Camry
Jokes on you. Toyota announced that they're going to discontinue it
@@letshuoer that's why you should hurry up and get one before there's none left.
its pronounced "LAY-SHWA" lol
