You should add a little miniature overlay / text box that says which server each game is being played on. Maybe like a little dot or letter under each of the 7 game icons. Which server is being played on is very important
I think it’s a solid idea, but he talks what the order is at the beginning of the video and you see the switch during the video. I think that’s pretty sufficient.
@@jayhagan8151It would still make for a better viewing experience and since its easy to do there no reason not to. Its a rather small detail and not really necessary bc of the points you mentioned but I was independently thinking the same thing during the series. It would be nice to have. And its worth considering, espescially since he plans to use this format more often now.

the save and recovery at 29:03 is absolutely unreal from Zen. this guy’s awareness and mechanics to match are unlike anything I’ve ever seen-regardless of the outcome of the show match.
I mean its good but far lower ranked players can do that.

This is the first zen showmatch I watched in its entirety since I’m a Yan Stan and a massive furia fan and I am very impressed everytouch on the ball is so effective every play and challenge so calculated like he’s planning several chess moves ahead. Absolutely incredible and I understand the hype now

Wow. Zen improves exponentially by the game I swear. Never have I seen a player make this type of impact this quickly in 1s. Or any other mode for that matter. Exceptional.

I'm sorry but 20 ping and 130 ping is NOT comparable to 44 to 80 ping, seems very unfair to yanx imo, you can't make the excuse that he's used to it either, that ping is borderline unplayable. And the fact that Zen was complaining when he got 110 ping?!!? Why was that allowed? 110 to 40 is still less of a disadvantage than 20 to 130

I’m ngl there’s a lot of support but I gotta say massive respect to Yan! His ping off his server was absolutely much worse than the 88 Zen had and he still took a game on EU. Not to mention that almost every game was a toss-up throughout. Had me at the edge of my seat.
Zen is on his way to becoming the new Fairy Peak. I wonder if he too can go a full year without losing a single showmatch on Johnnys stream
I doubt it though, that was an insane streak by the 1s goat himself. I still think Fairy could get into top 10 very quickly, one of the smartest and most efficient players of all time

But if both of them could get green ping on US-East servers, why wouldn't you try to get all the games on there instead of a cross-region showmatch?
Series like this one are why we need an 1v1 LAN, because even with one more game on home server yan is still on disadvantage, no matter how good a player is, they can't react to anything on 124 ping much less when your opponent is a player like zen and 88 is not that bad of a ping to play on away servers, zen is great(might be the best) and there's a probability that he could beat yan if the conditions are equal but we won't know from a series like this. (I'm not saying any of this is johnny's fault by the way).
My prediction is yes, zen wins 10 in a row.

Hey Johnny, me again. It’d be cool if you/your editor put together a video of just the kickoffs from a single show match, or game even, and talked us through the swings of who’s doing what, what they should do, why what they’re doing is/isn’t working etc.

It would not be as easy for zen to 10-0 all these pros if the ping was actually fair, 88 ping is almost like playing home server while 120 is horrible, even a 1 game advantage doesn't make up for this because its almost an all games advantage for the person with max 88 ping.

Zen is amazing. Don't get me wrong, but unfortunately, I have a hard time rooting for him. If there are any football fans here it's kinda like the Messi vs. Ronaldo debate. Messi is a magician and I love watching him but it's hard to root for a player that you know you'll never be able to match. Same for Zen, I'll never play as well as him. Other tops 1s players are amazing in their own right, like OKhalid, AppJack etc. These players garner so much adoration because their playstyle is one that I at least believe I could match with thousands of hours. But with these super mechy players Zen, Daniel etc when I watch them I'm not learning anything as I'll never be able to replicate that

I'm not sure if I'm in the minority here or not, but I can't stand having twitch chat on the screen. It moves by so fast that it takes my attention away from the game with each message flickering by in the corner of my vision and I really don't care about 99% of what anyone is saying. If other people agree it would so much nicer to watch without it imo, I usually put a notepad over the chat but that's also annoying to have taking up a bit of the screen and I can't fullscreen the video if I have the notepad window over it.

Zen is probably the most mechanical player ever but 1's will catch up to him. I may be right I may be wrong. But he's only been playing 1's for 2 months. Once players have played him more he won't be as dominant. Same thing happened with dark. All this hype around him but once players learn his play style he'll be much easier to counter. I may be wrong but we will see. Love this high level gameplay though! Very Happy Zen came to 1's!
I guess with Rw9 you could arguably say you're right, though rw9 might have been better than zen during this winstreak
