You can get started much cheaper! But if you can go all out ... all at once! it will likely save you money in the long term vs starting cheaper and upgrading over time like most of us do :)
Bro if this us your first tank go the cheaper route. Say the tank doesn't look like you imagined and so on. Spend 2-4k for a solid tank and equipment. As you progress through the hobby, you'll upgrade equipment and lighting
@@davidcastonguay2069 sorry to hear that at least you had it for 9 years that's a long time to have a fish , Yes yellow tangs are extremely hard to get manly because they are so expensive for no reason , I would go for a purple tang as they are a little bit cheaper
There is so much going on with this tank the more research I do the more I come back to a tank like this with the sump and the power heads at the end of the peninsula makes for such a great display and that sump setup is very nice do you have any problems with flow because of the power heads on one end sir?
Hi, could you please give your opinion about the Waterbox Peninsula AIO 65.4? I wonder if it can handle the bioload since its an AIO. Love your tank! Cheers
have you had to replace your return pumps for a new one? I have the ecotech L2 for 3 years now, not sure when to replace them. Better to at least keep a backup on hand?
Are you dosing the kalk and all for reef on a 24hr schedule? I've been reading some folks are dosing kalk at night and all for reef during the day didn't know what your thoughts were on that.
On the Kalk and AFR combo, it's awesome. Once the AFR is dialed in it keeps Alk rock steady through the daytime hours. The photosynthesis handles the pH. Then the Kalk for night or lights off is that extra sweet pH boost we all love. Your corals are looking thick and beautiful!
I need about $14,000 to get started, but in the end I think it’s worth it. It’s a great stress reliever this hobby.

Can you also do a video on your doser controller board for moonshiners! AMAZING idea!

How often do you clean sand or stir up if you do it at all?
Every few months I try to give the sandbed a clean.

So I also have 2 mp60s and an orbit 4 on a 6 foot peninsula. What modes and percentages are you running the mp60s and the orbit on?
75% ish reef reset for mp60. Not sure of the legit off hand. Assuming similar range
Flatworm exit for what exactly??
It’s like a weird coral crack. Anecdotally it seems to help coral encrust and baste out faster. I have it on a doser at half the recommended dose
Sir its a humle request to you... Please fix the website, where u have put information about auto fertilizer dosing system by arduino
At how much par you keep the torches?
What are your radion settings for filming if I may ask 😊?
I don’t change them. Jsut my regular schedule then tweak the camera white balance
@@ReefDudes Thanks! Will experiment wit that :-).
Making reefing easy.... yeah of course! :) lol
I experiment a lot lol.
@@ReefDudes and it's okay! :)
You're moving the camorra too fast and too much... I couldn't finish watching
I always enjoy your videos. Can I ask how tall is your light rail over your tank?

What are you using for nutrients export ?
I wish Redsea will make wider aquarium like 36 wide it would be very nice 👍
That would be cool! I wonder if WB would ever do that? Ill ask them! :D
How big is your tank?
6’ x24x24” ish
@@ReefDudesu meant 60 inches?
Awesome tank and crystal clear!
Thank you! Gotta love crystal clear water!
We always want longer or wider after everything is going well. Right now I wish I would have gone taller actually. Great update 👌🔥💯✌️
Hehe so true! Next tank will be at-least 30 front to back :)

Thank you! I'm slowly experimenting with adding more and more AFT into the mix. it really is a cool solution.
Did you find any of the baby coral spawns , did they take ?
Not yet, would have had to have been 2 of them spawning in theory. Not sure if there was a second or not as I Jsut caught the tail end of it
What kind of trigger fish is that?
blue throat trigger, they are one of the more reef safe triggers
