I make sausage surprise, and its tasty and quick but I dont stick the sausage out of the mash. Here is my recipe 1 onion chopped and fried, Add 1 tin baked beans, 1 tin chopped tomatoes, 2 crushed cloves of garlic, dash of Tabasco sauce, dash of Worcestershire sauce. Heat the sauce though in a casserole dish and then fry off 8 sausages to feed 4 people. Add the sausages to the sauce and cover and put in oven on a low heat for a few hours. Serve with a cheese mash potatoes. DELICIOUS
The whole "SURPRISE!" part is that the recipe is different, EVERY time she makes it, else it wouldn't be a surprise, would it. If you go back to around 2004, there's a video of her saying it's sausages in tomatoes with onions - well clearly what is in THIS video, is not that, so you see my logic?

unlokia in this one, there's mash, sausages and baked beans
It's just mash layered over baked beans with a few burnt sausages poking out the top. Shouldn't be too hard to recreate.
