  • Every day for a year Bernadette Russell did a random act of kindness for a stranger. How did it change her? And what happens to your brain when you're kind?
    Made by Daniel Nils Roberts

Thank you very much for this video. I'm an advocate for small acts of kindness and, as a teacher, I try to pass this on to my students. I'll share this video with them

    This is absolutely amazing!
I feel exactly the same way! So much so that I’m starting my own passion project related to Kindness, called ‘Kindness for Health’.
One act of kindness a day can significantly improve the wellbeing of the giver, the receiver and anyone who witnessed the act of kindness.
Kindness releases oxytocin in the brain which stimulates various types of positive social interaction and helps you to feel less pain, lower stress, anxiety and your blood pressure, which in turn could help you to live longer! - To me, that’s incredible!
I feel driven to share these health benefits with others and experience joy, happiness and meaningful human connection in the process.
    I love this video!!

Most curious. In the 70s there was a TV series called Kung Fu. The main character was a Shaolin monk, so he fought, but to defend himself and often to defend others. Remarkably, the change of ways or opinions he achieved in others wasn't caused by him kicking people, but by him being very kind.
It's worthy a rewatch. It's available in DVD and streaming.

I really want to watch this, but cannot and had to stop by the 2:21 mark. It is so incredijly busy with unnecessary flashes of light, colors, images, and animations mixed with text descriptions, all overlaid in brief flashes of clip edits with the people giving verbal monologs that I guess I'm just too dim to understand and make sense of it. I wish the producers would have been more kind and thoughtful.
Maybe I'll try again another time.

See which behavior you like for yourself from others, then behave with them accordingly, and what you consider a bad behaviour for yourself from them, then do not behave with them similarly.
