- Muhammad Ashraf says this car means a lot to him. He says it’s frustrating because he feels like the police are not fully investigating his case.
Why didn’t he just act like he was interested in buying the car, then setting the guy up with the cops when they met up?!
Not everyone is James Bond
Blame Texas Education
The law won't allow it.
Yeah with all the buyers trying to lowball the guy all he has to do is say I will give you the full 45 you're asking for it and then when he shows up. Pull out a Colt 45 and go here's the 45, take it or leave it. 😂
Exactly... pr just go get it. It got a 🔑
Cops literally won't show up when someone's life is in danger. You're better off vigilante style. A car that year you'd think it'd have on star tracking
Keep it in the streets u sound like a rat

Lol what are you even talking about? No one’s life was in danger
Texas laws need to change. I am disgusted by the action not taken by law enforcement
You can thank the liberal fools for wanting to disband law enforcement for their non caring ways.

Buying a 17 year old a zr1 corvette, first issue. Second issue, not having the insurance to cover it.
we bought it 4 years ago, he is 21 now. We do have insurance but have you ever dealt with them for a stolen vehicle? good luck on getting back enough money to even buy a corolla!
*so he have OnStar and couldn't track it? i would've called Onstar to disable the engine and track the car. dude must not know Onstar can do all of those.* 🤣
Yes, have OnStar and they said that they couldn't track it. They broke in through the driver side window and I got the OnStar alert but after that they disabled it and OnStar was not able to track it afterwards.
As soon as the computer onstar is removed they lose all communication with the vehicle
Onstar never is any help anyway. If it wasn't for them we would've had our corvette back that was stolen
@@handymangamer238 *not on my 2014 corvette. the engine will be disable automatically. Even when my Radar detector drop from the windshield, my car wont start. it just shows "theft attempted" and i know a lot of C7 driver likes to turn off their theft deterrent system. the communication module is on the passenger side and to get to it, they will need to remove the instrument panel. if Onstar alert and the car was gone then that means the person who got the alert must not have look at their phone when the alert was sent, otherwise they would've got to the car before it was stolen. BUT, the video said it was the "dad" that got the alert so lesson learn.*

Hope you get your car back young man. I know how you feel I've had two cars stolen from me.🙏🏿
My buddy got his car stolen recently, policeman straight up told him looking for his car is not priority at all for them.
Find this mans car
Hopefully
I wish the news wouldve covered a story on our stolen corvette. Onstar was no help. Ill never get a subscription with them ever again. Hpd wasnt of any help. Everytime i reached out to the news there were no responses. At least this guy got them to cover his story
They picked it up from social media and contacted us. I can tell you we are going through the same issue, HPD says our case is in queue and don't know when a detective will be assigned to it. Everyone, even the reporter that came to our house said that HPD is no help. When I call in they treat me like I'm an idiot for calling in, so frustrating!
Oh and OnStar is completely useless, they said as soon as the car was broken in, they have no contact with it afterwards, completely useless!
Spring Branch has turned into Chicago
Buy it back
Another comment from me, he will not just buy it back, if you actually hear the news correctly, bro just deleted his listings and the Facebook page. I hope the car is still safe. Also the fact that the police doesn't fully investigate this case is just wrong, police is for helping, not ignoring help when needed, although they do say they can not do anything. We just gotta hope that the car is back and safe.
0:25 *Get keith a suit that fits!*
His jacket alway showing his tie
Go buy it and take off with it.
And waste 48k? No way
NOBODY will ever look for you’re car harder than you !!!!!
So true and if you put some time and effort and brains into it you actually can do a better job than the average police detective. I have a friend who got his car smashed into by this idiot in a pickup and the guy took off and ran and based on stuff he found out from witnesses he did tons of investigating and asking around and found everything out about the guy got him fired from his job and made him go on the run and got his truck repossessed and eventually arrested. He did what the detective should have done
Facts
Exactly!
I hope you find it soon

He said that he doesn’t know who took it or where it is. That seems to be the case for most stolen cars. What are the cops to do? For all of you wanna be detectives out there, I’m sure the police would like to know where the car is and who took it. This could be your big breakout case.
Someone They Know 😂😂😂
no, so far, doesn't seem like anyone we know!
@handymangamer238 sorry someone took something you work so hard for
The police have become useless in helping anyone - they side with criminals. Someone decided to attack me/my car while I was sitting in it at a shopping center (some random stranger I never interacted with) - called the police and they told me to file a report online because it was on private property. The guy remained on site for like 5-minutes and could have continued his rampage and/or maybe even hurt someone; yet the police didn’t bother sending anyone. I got the other guy on dash cam, including the license plate of the car he left in. Police never called, so I called a week later. Investigator was helpful at first, said they knew who the guy was, and even said he had some criminal history with them. Then it got weird - they were trying to call the guy and “hopefully” he would pickup. I remember cops would go with you to confront the offender. Anyways, gave up on the police; but it sucks because it was it was over $5k in damages and they did nothing; honestly, what bothers me more is that the guy is still out there and more than likely still causing trouble because he knows the police won’t do a thing. Unfortunately, think it’s also time that we all start carrying tasers or pepper spray in case we get attacked because the police aren’t coming and if they do it’s likely to protect the criminals.
Going to have to take matters into your own hands.
Unbelivable
He should have sent $48k in gift cards and got his car back.
That car is all the way in Australia bruh
Let the insurance replace it, you have proof that is has been stolen so get another one!
If you gonna buy expensive cars pleas have a tracker installed in it in a conspicuous place. That way you can track the thief and shiw him where the cemetery is located.
Damn that's cheap for $48k. The movie theater should have video surveillance...you should still be able to find your car with onstar

No, unfortunately we never got it back.

Well Muhammad, your car is not the only car that has been stolen here. Hopefully you're not expectimg special treatment and want HPD to put everyone else on hold while they find only your car. My car was stolen. I found it myself. I called police and had to wait 3 full shift changes before the call taker and dispatcher decided to send someone out. I couldn't drive it off or I would have. I waited 19 hours at the theifs apartment complex parked next to my car praying the theif didnt come out and shoot me. The call taker thought it was hilarious to change my call from a vehicle recovery to a disturbance which is what made me have to wait so long. I feel your frustration. However, you're gonna have to do something yourself.
