On the Mall by Edwin Franko Goldman, all parts performed by Brassman Bart

Hello! It has been a while since I last posted. This number was composed in 1923 by Goldman, and involves whistling and singing. Somewhere in the audio files of the 528th Air Force Band is a recording of this number with me playing tuba, many years ago, before digital recording. If an edit was necessary, it would involve an actual splice of the physical tape. I missed my cue on the repeat of the trio. I got a dirty look and heard a bad word from our commanding officer. He asked the recording engineer if he could fix it with a splice. He said he could, so we finished the session. That was nearly fifty years ago.
