About Swami Sarvapriyananda:
Swami Sarvapriyananda, a monk of the Ramakrishna order is currently serving as the head of the Vedanta Society of New York, USA. He is a highly acclaimed teacher and preacher of the Vedantic wisdom. His lucid exposition of the scriptures has been well-received by scholars, students and seekers all over the world. He has delivered lectures on various prestigious platforms like Harvard University, TEDx, Google Talks, SAND etc. and various IITs and IIMs in India. He was a Nagral fellow at the Harvard divinity school in 2019-20.
He joined the Ramakrishna Math in 1994 and received Sannyasa in 2004. His popular talks like “Who am I?”, “What is Vedanta?” and “Dissolve into Infinity” are available on various streaming platforms.

The best part in the QA session of Swami Sarvapriyananda Maharaj is his patience in listening to and explaining. Many would get irritated or feel the Q may be foolish. I like Swami Sarvapriyananda Ji talking to such august gathering, specially IISC, a brain child of Swami Vivekananda. It must have pleased Swami Vivekananda himself too, I guess and I wish Swami to give a talk at MIT, world's number 1 institute as per recent ranking.
Everywhere respected Sarvapriyananda Maharaj goes I eagerly wait to listen his talks .

Swami Sarvapriyanandaji - I am following all your UA-cam Lectures. I listened this lecture eagerly. I ta very great in many ways. I am an ex-student of IISC 1967 to 1970. I was fortunate to be one of the students who attended a lecture by Pujya Swami Chinmayanandaji At the IISc in 1969, I think It was then I got of clarification to my questions and introduction to Vedanta.Since then I came to Canada and did Ph.D. in Engineering. However, I was fortunate to attend many classesof pujya Swamiji and other swamijis of Chimaya Mission. But now I am retired and spending all my time on Vedanta for the last 8 years. To follow the Sampradaya My guru is Swami Paramarthanandaji of Chennai. In the mean time I was diagnosed of Bone related Cancer. So I was listening on Ashtavakra Gita lectures. But Swami Paramartanandaji insisted that I need not hurry to go to Ashtavakra, start with more basic books - and he insisted that I will have enough time to achieve whamy study project. I am still continuing my serous study, for which I did not get time during engineering professional work.
I did know the connection with Sister Nivedita with the permission of IISc. establishment representing at the British Parliament. If you have any source I would appreciate it very much.
Swamijis lecture was all comprehensive and compact with good questions from audience.
It was great.
Hope you Swamiji continue to visit advanced educational institution for lecture which will guide many youngsters in the future, as I got inspired
I have questions regarding all four yoga for enlightenment. Classical aviata insists that jnanaypoga is the only one. But I can see why this was brought in this way. You might want to clarify this more if you get a chance

Haven't gone through the whole of it but just after 1:18:42 Swamiji said thought is observable - yes,true thought is an object ( Jada), and we are drishta( Chetan ) - so consciousness is experiencing the thought,but I think here it means reflected consciousness not atman or pure awareness because the supreme self is just the witness there is no questiong of "experiencing ".... IT IS as Nisargdutta Maharaj said I AM

A beautiful question to think on- if realisation of ultimate is final step and if that is one and the only truth, why understanding it leads to debates or ambiguity even between those who are enlightened and represent different schools. Probably the answer is - Salt doll touching the ocean to understand the ocean but is now lost in it!
