The video I needed. Thank you so much! I play for our school badminton team but our teacher doesn't really teach us anything about the sport, we just kind of have to learn on our own but I can't afford to pay for training. I've been trying to learn how to smash for half a year and I am so so glad I found this video! Thank u so much you saved my life! Please keep making good content like this.

you are amazing. thanks so much for these vids. However i have a suggestion. it would be highly helpful if you could bring those theoretical knowledge into practical by playing some real shots :)

The best best explanation I've ever heard! I watched similar videos made by famous players but they all could it naturally. So they don't think through those pitfalls that most plays have. This video clips helps!

there are lot of different techniq i found on youtube but I found this suit me well. I've try coach lee technique (coachingbadminton) where you need to rotate you racket about 10 degree without focus on wrist pronation while smashing. Its make my smash direction out of control. but some of my friend improve their smash by doing that. I didnt condemn that method but I found that your tutorial is more accurate for me and from my observation most professional player also did this way..

Similar information that I've learned from more experienced players who compete internationally in their younger days. They've also tell me to utilize my body weight to maximize my power which I've finally manage to do with hours of practices on end. With my fitness level and weighing in at 230 lbs, and being an ex combat soldier...yeah, it helps I guess.

I played tennis for a while and the grip for a smash seems similiar to backhand grip in tennis (which I used for service and backend as well), is that true or not?
I’ve just played badminton for 2 - 3 times in my life and I got callus on my little finger. I don’t know if it is because of the "tennis" grip or something else. Thank you for your reply :) ..
PS: The callus is not too important. The grip is more important :D
