Terrific vîdeo of those sensational 68,s well caught by your goodself ,on the fab Chiltern line.Cant wait for the TP 68 ,s they are simply stunning that livery. One painted up last Saturday at Crewe Gresty Bridge.Cheers Nick.
There is indeed a foot crossing just north of the station. Assuming your coming out of the station, take the path on the left after the second property between the houses and just follow it straight over between the trees in the next field then it starts drifting towards the railway and goes alongside for a bit then you reach the crosding, or you can pick it up at the other end on the S bend by the industrial estate where the river goes under the road and the road bridge over the railway is. People get good long shots off that bridge with the church in the shot but there isn't a great deal of refuge on the bridge itself and sod's law a car will go past when a 68 passes. Banbury is good for the 68's as they stop there and when I last went there a few days ago there was three in about 20 mins around 11.40 - 12pm. Keep the videos coming boss. Always enjoy them.
Ah right thanks ever so much for letting me know about that, next time I go down there I'll have an explore around the area and see what I can come across. I'm hopeful that the weather is going to be on my side when I do go down there next time.
As always great job. I haven't gotten any notices for new films, so I'll watch in groups now when possible. Not the best weather it seems, great for speed though as the sun breached. Pure habit on this one. Thanks! B.P.
GBRfan 66 should probably let you know that DVTs aren't 82s. I don't wanna sound rude about it, but class 82s were different trains, DVT numbers are coach numbers, they're just laid out as 82xxx. Don't worry, I was making the same mistake till earlier this year :)
I've loved this station since the day I went there in April this year. It's such a gem and is so pleasant to stand at! I'm going to get back here by next summer myself, and I can't wait for Oxford from you :D
I have to admit I have caught the 'bug' from here. It's a great station to come to and I can safely say one that I will be going to each and every year
Lovely station great video as always :)really enjoyed it and yes it was in my videos to watch:) And that 68 wow i love that sound sorry i am repeating myself
Jarred, please please please film at Banbury Lane near the station, it's a footbridge where the line looking south meanders twice offering great views, I thoroughly enjoyed watching, up to the usual high standards, keep up the good work and a like from me as always.
Next time I come here I will have a look around the area and see what I can find as I really want to try and get some great shots of the trains working around the bends : )
There* and did you really watch it though? Your comment was made 22 minutes ago, and this went live 28 minutes ago. Why not watch and comment on the footage then, instead of just commenting for the sake of it
great video again jarred i would love to meet you one day as I have met kieran brewer and we have become very good friends and he speaks very highly of you so hopefully one day our pathes will cross
Thanks very much for saying so I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, where abouts do you live in the UK as that would give me a better idea of where to go to give us the opportunity to meet up one day
Tornado922 im in Cosham but a good place to meet up would be Eastleigh as I know you want to visit there and its cheap to get to but it will have to wait until next year as I'm saving up for Christmas and will be alot of extra shifts at work for the next few weeks but yes will defo have to meet up

The weather could've been better I do have to admit although I still enjoyed my time here and shall continue to always come back to this station
Yeah, worth a return for sure. Just for the habit alone, they fly through here.. well there. B.P.
The 68 and 82 sets are fantastic!

Yeah I caught that too me thinks. Mind you, might go in the summer next time!
The train at 5:06 reminds me of the enterprise Here in Belfast
I'm hopeful that at some stage I will be able to go to Ireland and film a few of the trains there
168s are clubmans and 172s are turbostars
I know :)
Lovely station great video as always :)really enjoyed it and yes it was in my videos to watch:)
And that 68 wow i love that sound sorry i am repeating myself

Thomas Norton here here.!
Great video at my favourite station, also I have seen that cat before
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed it :) The cat wondered off about 10 minutes after me filming it, seems friendly enough though
Fun fact, this is the least used station in Northamptonshire if you saw the river that is the boundary between Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire
Well I now know something new :) Thank you for telling me :)
Well done I agree it is a nice little station. Great video
Thanks for saying so I'm glad you liked the station and the film

Another good video from you tornado922 and I think they forgot to rephurbish the class 165's livery
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, to be honest I kinda like the livery on the 165's it's a knock to the former NSE livery
NSE has been long gone
So tornado 922 do you like the new crossrail
Great video as usual,Nice station.

You'll start to see more of them as my series progresses closer towards London X
Nice video tornado
Thanks very much
A very idyllic and quiet station.
It's a nice inbetween station if you catch my drift, it's not to busy or to quiet
a fantastic video (from italy)
Grazie mille
Cool video
Thanks
how do you know from where a freight train is coming, his destination and if he is on time or not?
