She has not changed or aged at all. Looks exactly the same as she did 20 years ago! She's so gorgeous!
Still smokin
The way she handles the big red grinder
Wow
I learned a lot from you over the years. I'm really glad that you stuck with it. Looking forward to watching you again.
I prefer the chx pounded down, not as bulky and a little more crisp. Other than that this is how I’ve made my chx piccata for forever. Even added sliced thin lemon on top.
Yes, pounded chix, deglaze with the stock 😂 and lemon juice (and wine) .. finish with garlic butter to emulsify
Exactly 🎉
Agreed! These are too thick for me
This was a very improper way she handled the chicken. She didn't prepare/ pound out the meat at all. No trained chef would just leave the meat thick & bulky like that without pounding it out for this dish
@jsf221 yeah half the stuff she sells you can get at your local Italian deli if you have one for a quarter of the price. My deli gets mostly everything from Italy.
Love Giada
Ever since her first Food Network show! Happy to find her on
UA-cam
Have her cookbooks too
Great recipe, will definitely make 😊
I am so happy I found you on UA-cam!!!! I have been watching Everyday Italian since I was 14!! Me and my wife love to cook along with your episodes! By far one of the world's best Chef's! You deserve so much more recognition than you get! Love ya!! ❤🎉
She definitely should have pounded out the chicken to bring it to a much thinner, more tender and even thickness. Not the culinary way to do it without pounding out the cutlets
@@pinkrainbow1to each their own. Everyone cooks differently
@@pinkrainbow1are yiu a chef?
@pinkrainbow4484 My comment has nothing to do with chicken. I appreciate your input, though.
@@staycool163 No. There is a standard technique of chefs. She did not take the time to prepare the meat properly. She did Not Use an actual proper method of cooking this dish. She cooked it as an untrained novice would do improperly.
Love her recipes!
Also she looks amazing Looks the same than 10 years ago! 😊
It’s so amazing to see you again, I never missed a show back in the day, it’s wonderful seeing you again.
The recipe is great but your curious puppy wanting to get in on the camera action with his/her big ears.....omg so very cute!

Yum…I need to try them, looks good.
Thanks for showing off the pups; I just love dogs.
(I hate the fact that the apartment complex I live in does not allow dogs, so needless to say, I miss having one.)
The pups are so cute.
Gorgeous! Always had a big ol crush! Since the first show on food network,
The food look good
I just love all your recipes. Especially the egg plant with mint and balsamic. And I believe goat cheese or maybe feta. Anyways for the chicken Piccatta. Do you drain the capers before adding them? 🤔
Where did you buy your red pepper shaker?
I'm trying this for lunch....
Added artichoke to mine..thank you Giada
Oh wow, can’t wait to try this super easy recipe and guess what, I have an unopened jar of imported capers in my pantry just waiting for the opportunity to join in the fun ☮️🙋🏼♀️🦋
Yeah …
Big time crush forever 😊 wish I could cook 🤙🏼💫
I bet it smells good 👍
Can't smell a thing allergy kicked in 😋blessings 🙏
I love chicken picatta and chicken franchese.
im glad to have you
I add some chopped sun dried tomatoes and a little heavy cream at the end when I make this. Serve over angel hair pasta.
The way she works that pepper grinder....omg
Wow
Never knew you were a dog lover ♥️ looks like my home. Love the recipe and may have to indulge in the butter and oil just for this one.
This recipe is perfect…and so is that colorful outfit! Where can I get that!!??
On shows liked Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay they never cook the meat long enough or cook it thru. Happy to see how here. The doggies are cute!🎉🎉🎉Brooklyn 5:17
Looks really yummy, Does anyone know what brand of skillet/pan that she is using in this video?
Made In!
My dream girlfriend 😊
Giada,
You're beautiful in every way, you're talented and you really can cook Italian food. And, being Italian I can appreciate your
style. Ciao Bella, Dante
❤🍝🧐🌲👍
I’d like to see you and Laura from Laura in the kitchen do an Italian cookout!!!
I know I love chicken piccata too!😉❤️
Loving all the tummy baring shirts!
Love you!
Giada oh my god you look fantastic!!!
how long you sauteed the chicken first?
Add the chicken and cook just until brown, about 3 minutes per side. Then once the broth has been added to the pan, return the chicken to the pan and simmer until just cooked through, about 5 minutes :)
👍👍
She's adorable.
I love chicken picata & I love your outfit 👍
Yay we found you❤
What if I don't have any broth can I add just water?
yes! We'd recommend adding a little more seasoning too!
Blaa that way!
❤❤❤❤😊
Giada looking stunning 😘😘😘
Butterfly the chicken first. My mom did this with all chicken dishes and it is so much better once you do it you will never eat breast a different way. I love capers lots of them
Chicken for piccata or franchase must be pounded out to a much thinner even thickness. It would never be as tender or delicious when it's not pounded out. Obvi. Rooky mistake. The way she did it with the chicken in its natural shape is so unprofessional and definitely will be more dry and have less flavor because There is less surface area... Too thick, not an even thickness and will be much tougher without pounding
@@pinkrainbow1I always pound out my chicken breasts. Way more tender.
prettier now..getting younger as time goes by.. amazing! share your beauty secrets pls🙂
The chicken will be much more tender if you slice them down the middle & pound them fairly thin. Piccata means pounded.
Happy Wednesday 🎉🎉🎉Brooklyn 0:31
Everyday Italian, the 90’s kids’ Victoria’s Secret catalog
Where is your outfit from?
Monrow!
Love Giada too! She has been pretty forever! No dogs in the kitchen!!
You do it the easy way, no cutting and pounding of the chicken. Adding butter isn't just because, it is traditional.
I’d eat it 🤪
Hello beautiful that looks pretty good 😍❤️🌹
Weird…white wine always seems to fall into mine 😁
That dog right there WOMAN I HOPE YOU AINT FEEDING HIM ALL HUMAN FOOD HAS WAY TO MUCH SODIUM BUT YUR A PROFESSIONAL YOU KNOW THAT
I like to use a good white wine instead of broth...mmm better than broth
It's cats on the counter ...I'm out the door..
me likey likey nom nom nom
Your outfit is so cute where did you get it?
Monrow!
hey girl- yummy😀😋 for my tummy!
Love the new haircut

Me da ansia qué se pueda quemar el estómago 😊
Hey hey hey,
You look great, BTW, the piccata look,s fabulous too.
Thank you G...
✌️❤️😊
No garlic?
You can add some if you'd like!
No Roux?
The flour on the chicken helps thicken the sauce!
Saluti per te....
i love that belly shirt
Check your volume of the video please. Barely audible for us older people!
This is not a new recipe. Classic Italian, use wine wine then chicken broth for a better flavor! ( leaving out secrets).
Changed tongs? Looked like the raw chicken utensil...(Attack minions!) 😮
I am not sure the poking the chicken with your finger is the best method for doneness …😝
You fried chicken that's it
I would love to taste her chicken Picstta ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ lol
