"His name is Dennis" lol Bill is so amazingly funny
Brilliant!
Yea hilarious. "Ted Bundy called me."lol
jbmp1390 that was my favorite part
Hahaha gets me, everytime.
Um, I think you mean Lorne :/
The exasperated "yeah, of course you do" is frigging brilliant
Agreed lol
...and dark.
I didn't understand that part. Could you explain?
@@Ustaleone in bill's joke, dahmer is trying to corner the "young man" who was their waiter....for, y'know, nefarious reasons, so lorne is essentially rolling his eyes at dahmer's excuse of having to "go to the bathroom"
@@Ustaleone Dahmer was the kind of guy more likely to eat the waiter than the dishes he ordered. Literally.
Conan is genuinely laughing out loud, and its beautiful!
David Corona , he was ?
David Corona Unlike Fallon
He's the anti-fallon
@@mehtaverse damn you beat me too it.
"Jimmy Fallon - " HAHAHAHAHA HA HA HA HA SO FUNNY HAHAHA LOOK AT ME I'M LAUGHING COZ IT'S FUNNY"
That's Jimmy....
@@mehtaverse Fallon needs to lose the desk so he cant slap it in fake joy.
"You know...his name's Dennis." I LOST IT.
He's a human being
Nola Chick that’s definitely the single best line, because you can tell Lorne actually says that about famous people he does actually know.
Dennis Rader.
I'm already laughing at Dennis. Then, "He's a human being"..., ( pause shakes head up and down. ) ...and I'm on the floor.
BTK=Dennis Rader
This is why I think Bill Hader is one of the world’s most gifted impressionists. He doesn’t just imitate the voice and the mannerisms of his subjects (although he does do this expertly). He adds so much more with his choices in dialogue. Like, what kind of person dreams this stuff up? The best kind.
azzers
he's also versatile as non-Bill Hader characters (same goes for Fred Armisen)... as in the opposite of Sandler or Ferrell, who are just playing themselves as someone else in everything.
Impersonations are not funny anymore. Waisted interview. Asking a seal to clap.
@@Riceball80IA Oh thanks, I guess we missed the memos that said "comedy is no longer subjective" and "comedians shouldn't be asked to do their job".
Jim Carrey is the best ever in my opinion, he just evolved from it and did other things, but he is the true master.
He always points out who wrote or performed something with him, he's obviously uncomfortable taking all of the credit. Easy to be a fan of this guy.
Hard not to be really . One of Hollywood’s last gems
I met Dan Aykroyd once and he's the same exact way. A real mensch. Perhaps the greatest TV sketch comic of all time and yet always giving credit to the other writers.
So who did he name-drop? Dennis
@@nayannbg6314 John Solomon and Fred Armisen
@@Heritage367 Mlepnos got some love from Hader 😂
I need more serial killer references from Bill Hader.

“There was the time I was on Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. The Zodiac was there having fish and chips 🤦🏻♂️“.
@@stanford-nf4jk where's that coming from...?
I was in Queens, me and Mike Piazza were on our way to a Met's game, when Mike turned and told me the .44 caliber killer was standing at a Bus Stop, on Myrtle Ave. I said, you mean, David Berkowitz, he has a name.
We are a really effed up crowd.
The term “”and then ted bundy called”” really got Conan going
It really got me too
Wow 😳 143 likes! Thanks guys ☺️
DumbButFunny
You deserve more my man ✌️
I was lmfao before that but I lost it after that lol
“You know his name is Dennis? He’s a human being...”
Good thing you wrote that. Not like we didn’t hear it
Bill Hader should be given the opportunity to voice the Joker in a DC animated feature. Got a feeling he'd knock it out of the park. Good laugh, too.
AndyR2897 I swear he would lbs
Bill Hader is a total Riddler!
If he worked out just abit, he would make a good superman ironically and he kinda resembles Christopher Reeves too
That's the dumbest idea iv read this month.
@@_petrich0r He looks like Henry Cavill's skinny brother.
"He's a human being"
Hader is insanely funny as is, but the fact that he can just put the icing on the cake with the impressions...he's just so damn funny, he's unmatched
i need help i cant stop binging Bill Haders interviews!!!!
So happy to hear I'm not alone!
We should make a club or something
Same fam 😩
Nah, You're okay. There are worse things you could do.
And we are herento suport you that you do the right think.
When you get Conan laughing like that, you're a funny person.
I NEED MORE HADER!
harder?
More haters incoming
I really like the people who can make Conan laught like that. Hader, Burr, Olyphant...
Norm Macdonald
Charlene Yi, Claudia O’Doherty, Fred Armisen, Kroll and Mulaney
Ron Funches
NICOLE BYER!!!

Bill actually grew up about 40 miles away from where the BTK murders took place. Very courteous of Bill to acknowledge he isn't the only celebrity from this small patch of the Midwest!
Wichita to Tulsa? I think it's a bit farther than 40 miles. But I agree, good ol Midwestern Serial killer! Gotta give "Dennis" his due.
@@mikequinlivan8842 I grew up about 30 miles away from where BTK was I've even worked in the same town that BTK was the code enforcement officer. I even once helped mow the lawn where his house used to be until they the city of Park City toward down.
Surprisingly the Midwest is a lot more spread out than back east. Tulsa to Wichita think like 130 years or so miles.
Conan should upload the full episode on youtube after all its just 30 minutes.
agreed
Why is it shorter?
Conan is a truly gifted genius but these 1- and 2-minute clip durations are beyond aggravating for those of us who'd like to watch but don't want to be bound by broadcast schedules and/or needing to DVR
@@limberlad I don't know.
Man, TBS really slashed the budget on Conan. If Full episodes were Free here it would affect ratings and advertising.
Bill hader is too funny😂😂 and conan's laughing is killing me
“Of course you do.” 😂😂😂😂😂
Good thing you wrote that like we didn’t all hear it in the clip.
Even after watching a ton of SNL people talk about Lorne, I genuinely cannot tell if they love him or hate him
"If you want to know who controls you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize." --- Lorne
Both
true
Clearly this Lorne Michaels is a genius. Look at who he hires. I want to know what magic he possesses. But also I have seen so many impressions of this man whom I’ve never actually seen it’s amazing.
There's Lorne videos on YT...
Careful though. He hangs out with serial killers.
Well he also hired Rob Schneider, so like 90% ain't bad!
Michaels clearly is great at picking talent. But he also kinda has the best and brightest auditioning in front of him... they want that chance to get on SNL.
Fun fact: Dr. Evil was based on Dana Carvey's impression of Lorne Michaels
Part of his brilliance is that he never appears to be trying too hard.
In the Second City tradition of improv, one of the guidelines is "wear your characters lightly." Hader always does that.
The most famous Lorne Michaels impression of all is Mike Myers via his character Dr. Evil.
These impressions are hilarious, but Conan's laugh makes it even funnier
Man, I feel like the audience didn't laugh enough at the "I have to go to the bathroom" "Of course you do" part. That was brilliant, haha.
"You know, his name is _Dennis._ He's a human being."
Bill started laughing really hard when Conan said Michaels is an "iconic, great man".
“.... You know, his name is Dennis...”. 🤣🤣🤣
Hader is EXTRAORDINARILY talented.
The set looks like they snuck into Ellen’s set at night and just changed the backdrop a bit.
Lol😂
Maybe it is lol
It’s basically like the green room of the Ellen set, just behind the stage area.
Omg why does that seem not so far off lol
Theyre in the same studios i think right next to eachother so thats probably why
I love it when a guest gets a genuine belly laugh out of a host!
“1978 I was living with Paul Simon and *rubs eye* Ted Bundy called me”
The best one that cracked up Conan O'Brien was at 2:11
So when Mike Myers does Dr Evil...was he doing Lorne?
TK W yes he based it on Lorne.
Yes
He took it from Dana Carvey's impression of Lorne and then ran with it. Dana talks about it the latest Howard Stern interview
Yes, 1998 we've known this already.
Every once in a while I come back to this video and it makes me laugh out loud everytime
Conan is one of my favorite comedians and the fact that Bill Hader can make him laugh THAT hard is just amazing and awesome to watch. Bill Hader is my true crime spirit animal.
This had me crying. That's hilarious. Even knowing how funny and we'll known Bill Hader is, I still think he's an underrated comedian.
Both are SNL vets, both are obsessed with true crime, and both are two of my most favorite human beings whose projects I will ALWAYS support. So this is really the perfect storm of a clip ❤️❤️❤️
What I love about Bill Hader's appearances on Conan is that Conan is clearly a fan, which is awesome considering Bill grew up a fan of his. It's just really cool that so much time separates them but they still wound up as mutual fans.
“Ted Bundy called me and said “Hey. Did you get my letter?” and I said “Obviously not.””
Never herd Conan laugh that hard. 😂
Type "Bill Burr conan" and enjoy at least an hour of Conan laughing his ass off
@@TheUnf0rgiv3n Bill Burr & Hader really crack him up lmao
@@asapgroovy Definitely!!!
The fact that it took me watching this the 50th time to just now notice the pun in title of the video 💀💀
2:01 I've watched this a few times and I JUST got that 'of course you do' joke lol
Can you explain it to me? I don't get it
@@soonsims Jeffrey Dahmer targeted young men as his victims, so he has to "go to the bathroom" which means he's going to go kill the waiter, and Lorne Michaels knows what's up
His name is Dennis
bill hader will never be not funny to me
@Danushka Gihan me too, cuz he said it backwards.
Just say “will always be funny to me.”
One of the greatest of all time.
So... he’ll always be funny?
This would’ve been such a killer sketch!
"you know... his name is Dennis"
--pure gold.
2:14 the fact Conan grabs his stomach, that belly laugh always gets me.
I like how the crowd wasn't laughing that much but conan was just dying laughing. He laughed for his own amusement he didn't care whether the crowd liked it or not. Thats what I like about conan and his show , the authenticity and natural chemistry of the host and the guest.
Exactly! Pure originality and authenticity.
@@IronMan-tk8uc something that is lacking in today's late night shows.
@@jpc2470 ya but Conan didn't care that the crowd knew who Lorne was or not. He was just having the time of his laugh here. And I think the audiences like that sense of originality in a lae night host.
"You know his names Dennis... he's a human being!" 😂😭😂😭😂
He's also a menace, but that's a whole separate issue.
As a credit to Haders skill and humor, I don't know half the people he impersonates, but his delivery is hilarious none the less! A great actor and comedian!
He's talented, hilarious, and gorgeous, I love Bill 😍
I don’t even know what Lorne sounds/acts like and I still love this.
The reaction from Conan is almost as good as the impression itself.
One of my favourite UA-cam clips.
When i read about Lorne I always go back to this impression
Best late night host...Period. He doesn't try to be too political. He puts funny first. That's all I want from comedy.
Agreed. Also innovative. Modernizing a well-established platform is a tough act.
Umm..have u seen his monologue?
@@11azuresky he can be political but his approach always puts laughing before pandering. That's all we can get apparently. Conan is just a talented mofo.
dumb
he is political all the time
Political comedy is great coming from Conan.
I have never seen Conan genuinely laughing like this before. You have to be very talented to make him react in that way.
I like the new set and how laid back Coco is. Best show on late night!
Is this how it's going to be now or an exception?
Wait this is the new set? I thought it was just a different location, i don't like it.
.....and 3 years later... if we're gonna get excited about something, its, uhmmm, the new Podcast studio.............
“You know, his name’s Dennis. He’s a human being.”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Conans laugh when Bill said Ted Bundy got me 😂😂😂😂😂
More Lorne Michaels name-dropping infamous SK's please! That clip will be making the next Best Of Conan anniversary show.
I need a whole hour of this.
There needs to be a Bill Hader Channel. I could watch him all day.
*eyes pan over* "ya know, his name is Dennis"
Bill's so funny, absolutely loved him on Conan's podcast
Conan bashing his old boss using Bill Hader brings me joy for the day.
this is the video i go to whenever i feel down, always makes me laugh
I never miss his interviews!Bill sends me rolling on the floor every damn time!!
And to think this guy didn’t think he was good enough.
Laughter is contagious and Bill Hader being anyone is ALWAYS funny BUT I guess you’d really have to know Lorne Micheal’s to truly appreciate this impression the way Conan does.
I always wait for new bill hader interviews, He always cracks me up.
1978. I was living with Paul Simon.
Ted Bundy calls me 😂😂😂😂
Bill and Conan are so funny together!
To me, Bill Hader is a bit like the legendary Norm MacDonald. They are both proof that very few people can do comedy at that level with the same delivery.
Theyre very different comedically but yes, both masters with their timing
Bill as Lorne reading a phonebook would be so compelling.
What a good laugh. Conan and Andy deserve a good laugh for all the ones they give. Somebody should make Bill Hader laugh some more. He's a talented guy
Great impersonation; Bill Hader really killin' it here! (Thank you, I'll see myself out...)
Bill Hader and Bill Burr. Two Bills that can get Conan to actually laugh.
Who can't unsee the Arnold face now with him in every video or movie😂😂😂
The eye rub and btk gets me every time
He's not only good at doing impressions but also got funny stuff to say. Unlike most "impressionnist" who just do the voice but ain't got nothing to say really...
Yeah, like Dana Carvy. He's an empty impressionist
I've never seen anyone make Conan laugh so hard.
bill hader as riddler
conan as joker.
those laughs are just maniacal
Conan has the most contagious laughter ever! So good! :D
For once a title that isn't clickbait. He literally did a killer impression.
I'm just here to stare at him. He's cute. He's beautiful and he's getting hotter as he gets older.
Why do I want to hear more of this impression all day long?
I love how you can hear the Doctor Evil in the impression.
This is my third time today watching this video! Too funny!
Why can't I find Bill Hader on social media? He's so mysterious LOL
Love Conan 's laugh
All of Bill's interviews are so hilarious 🤣🤣
Bill hader might be one of the funniest people I’ve seen on TV
Now I know where Mick Myers got his inspiration for Dr. Evil character.
Dr. Evil is based on Dana Carvey's impression of Lorne.
I was wishing I could laugh as hard as I am now watching this, yesterday
I love seeing conan laugh at bad taste jokes. lol Onyl even seen him laugh like this during gusts like norm macdonald.
We need more Bill Hader in the world like all the time
You know someone is talented when they can do an impression of someone you've never actually heard in your life, and it's still be one of the funniest things you've ever seen
Lorne Michaels, from the Kids in the Hall TV program? He was involved with SNL? Oh good for him.
As amazing a comedian he is, I LOVE his dramatic role in Skeleton Twins. So good. Highly recommend it.
