Rikidozan's 2nd was the Great Togo, who played Odd-Job in the Goldfinger movie.. Blassie married Japanese wrestler Mr. Moto's sister..This match is at the historic Olympic Auditorium.. Dick Beyer just beginning his long rein as The Destroyer and would defeat Blassie for the belt.
I mean, you gotta factor in that, back in the days, they were still trying to portray pro wrestling as a legitimate sporting competition as opposed to live-action anime like it is these days.

This match took place the year I was born. Blassie still ruled LA a decade later, along with John Tolos. They were my favorites.
