Is there any way to install these probeam lights into where stock lights go without removing the spacer that makes the tail light stick further out the back?
The tail looks a lot cleaner. It looks better, but I just don’t like the style of the lights, but the thought of it definitely looks better than the OEM lights..
I wonder if they would make some kind of a bolt on cover to both cover the holes and keep water from starting rust in the holes. Or some kind of like a color matched plastic plug for them.
@@volunteeraudioWRONG… Them holes are very noticeable, hence why the camera shots were very selective on what angles were used and the tail lights were not displayed in frame with you talking about how great they are lol. Custom Dynamics does make quality products which I run their lights on my softail but until this visible hole issue is rectified, I just will not be able to looks away from those holes lol
@ I am not paid to promote any company and the camera shots were not meant to deceive anything but the holes are small and recessed in enough that they are not very noticeable to me or the camera.
The main issue here is that the bolts are facing the wrong direction. If you want to add saddlebag guards, you’ll either have to cut the bolt heads or remove the filler panel and reapply the 3M tape. I ran into the same problem myself. To avoid this, install the nuts on both sides with the back facing outward so you can easily remove the torx screws. If you don't plan on adding saddlebag guards, though, you won’t need to worry about this.
@ I forgot to do that not paying attention, knowing I was going install saddlebag guards along with saddlebag drop guards since I practice slow maneuvers a lot. I realized after installing the custom dynamic rear lights. I ended up cutting the torx bolts and did exactly as you have stated.
Appreciate your videos. I’ve used each of them to help with my own installs. Keep on making them and I’ll keep on watching.
@@krisbell452 thank you!
Those lights look great. Enjoy your day and be safe.

Looks great! You need some rubber grommets in those fender holes or you going to have muddy streaks running down the fenders on rainy days.
@@danielwhitman891 I think some tape from the backside will be less visible and do the same effect
Only thing that doesn’t look right are those open holes in the fender. Fair enough, you have to get up on it to see them… but it would trigger my OCD.
The holes are not very noticeable at all

@ the holes are painted and will not lead to rust

When you install those new covers can you still remove the bolts under them ? Doesnt look like if you had to remove saddlebag mount you could
Yes you can still remove them as they are nut and bolt
looks great. will you also get the new Windshield/Fairing vent Trim from CD in your shop soon?
@@CH_RG24-cn4us yes we are adding more with each order
Did u get fault lights on the dash
@ no It did not, if yours did reach out to custom dynamics, some need extra resistors

You can swap the direction of the bolts during install, I could hold the nuts with a wrench and remove the bolt from the other direction

Im gonna date myself but the factory tail lights instantly made me think Harley cut a mid 60's Ford LTD tail light in half..
@@gregmannos I never thought Harley when I saw them
