I appreciated your introduction reminding us about the dangers of comparison. Because this is your job you have far more time to devote to these projects than many of us. The thing I have to remind myself is that you have a specific creativity that you have honed throughout the years and a particular technical savvy that I, for instance, don’t have. And because of these things and others, I need to remind myself that my albums will never be as “great” as yours in many ways. And, honestly, I don’t need them to be. What I do appreciate is the joy I experience in doing these projects and the way you present them so that I always feel inspired and never lacking. I thank you for that and the journey I have been on with you since 2008.
This is so poignant! I remind myself to be gentle with my thoughts because I'm still learning and I work a lot. This is my outlet for stress so it may come out a mess lol
Thank you for your introduction! I have never tried these types of projects because I did not think that I could do them as well as you. Your intro has given me the confidence to see what I can accomplish!
LOVED THIS VIDEO! Your projects are priceless, and your stories are amazing. I really love the DAVE album (but because DMB is also my fave band and I’ve been to many shows too), but I agree that I love the way you chose to tell larger and smaller stories in your project life-ish album! It’s really fun to see various sized page protectors and photos. TYFS!
Love to see all them at once! So many amazing stories. I would love to see you doing project life again. I got so excited when you first said you maybe embark on it again. Thanks for sharing all this with us, Ali
Ali, I loved every second of this video! I am lucky to complete a 6x8 Project Life album. I love doing it, but I took a year off last year. I am thinking seriously about doing one this year. I keep it really simple. I just love how you say, yeah, I'm OK with these blank pages...that is so great! I so enjoyed all these walk throughs. Your albums are so inspirational and fun! And Simon is in his own house-when you said that it blew me away, lol. It happens in the blink of an eye it seems! Thank you for this great video sharing all your 2023 work. I look forward to everything you are going to do this coming year!
Really enjoyed this video. Seeing all the pictures of volleyball .. *sigh*. ENJOY that busy season. I know how non-stop it feels when you are in it. I miss that season with my daughter so much!!!
Such an awesome collection you have 😍. I wish I have more time and energy to spend on all these projects. I am far behind but still loving the process of it all. I love my albums when they are done. Thank you for giving us the chance to come along your journey and enjoy all the things we do and make!
These are absolutely my favorite videos you share! Gets me so pumped to take more pictures and get creative! Didn’t you also do a Day In the Life album this year? Thank you so much for sharing these albums and videos!
love to see your flip-throughs. Always a huge inspiration for me and for the community. I always wanted to purchase the "The Story of Self" by Laura. ❤
Love this Video 😍 your projects are always an inspiration! I would love to go back to the story kits and monthly projects, but I don’t have the time at the moment 😢 someday, I’ll be back 😁 for now, I just manage to do week in the life and December daily (and sometimes a small travel album)
Hi! There's no class you need to sign up for - we share all the content for the Story Play project on the blog + UA-cam. The products will be available this Friday!
Hi! I store them here in my office - when I moved into this house I had shelves built into the eves to hold them. I'm getting ready to do deeper storage with some of them because I'm running out of room.
Any tips on how I would document my neice and nephew when they live so far away? The kids have a nanny and mom/dad are too busy to update me on what they are doing. I've been working from photos that are put in a shared album and I do major documenting when I visit but then wind up with big gaps. My one little word is Joy, its also my middle name!

I always love looking at your work thank you for sharing it with us.
Oh my gosh, love them all! And I really loved seeing how young/little the kids were in that black 9x12 album!

You can do it - whatever you do will be YOURS and that's the most important thing.

So inspired by all these projects. I’m interested in doing the story play project. When would the 2024 class enrollment start? ❤

Amazing and so inspirational! Thank you for the time & effort you put into all your videos. How and where do you store all your albums?
