Phil, great to see you and your family are all safe, I was wondering how you are doing. Stay safe take care. I’d love to go for a ride with you from the wattage cottage, perhaps one day.
Those are all good stuff. Practical products. Love the orucase. Saw you vid many times on that and settled on orucase. Due to the case, I’ve learned how to break the bike down and rebuild. I’ll buy the case just to lose fear of breaking down the bike. 😊
No matter the color of the kit, you look marvelous. (And, color and kit is awesome.) So sad about fires. You’ve always captured the beauty of the area in your videos. Stay safe!
I'm glad you and your family are safe, Phil. A note: WT riders on Shimano also have mechanics to deal with flimsy wires and trapped batteries. My purchasing decisions are different. I'm my own service course. SRAM AXS on every bike, please.
@@Michael-fi6ve Nope. Imagine one captive battery in the seat tube with vulnerable wires replacing two easily swappable batteries (or one battery for 1x). Both systems use coin cell batteries in the shifters.
Found Rich Uncle Mr. Pennybags over here! 😂 (Monopoly Man🤣) Hey, you do whatever you're comfortable with and keeps you riding! I, too, use Garmin and wear >$100 bibs (some jerseys) 😂 ...but I ride Shimano and use a Theragun.😎
Man I wasn't going to talk about this in the intro clip because there are real things to complain about, but I was using Riverside to film this (the text transcription is helpful on videos like this), and somehow the mic and the camera came out of sync on a lot of it. It was re-shoot a video that had 3 hours of raw talk time, or try to fix the audio which ended up taking longer than that. Trying to figure out if it was the software, the camera, the mic, or my wifi that caused it. If I wasn't living in a literal nightmare at the moment, I would have called that situation a nightmare.
Most of my directors were great to be honest. I'm really only thinking of a couple jerks when I say that. Now I feel bad thinking about the 50 directors that I like a lot
Maybe do a short tutorial video on HOW to wash gloves and the magic of using one of those mesh delicates bags so the velcro doesn't come unfastened and then both gloves find a way to get stuck to your bibs so your kit comes out with rough patches where the gloves attached themselves. Some of us may have made that costly mistake and prematurely damaged good bibs (and gloves).
Fun thing: some pros (a lot of rhem), who ride for teams that are sponsored by SRAM, ride shimano on their training bikes. But there are no pros who ride sram on their training bike who ride shimano in races 😅
Yeah sorry. I just wouldn’t have been able to ever finish this video if I didn’t do it this way. Various tech issues in addition to hell outside. It was 15 hours to edit
Phil can get people to watch 34 minutes of advertisements, that's impressive.
I was thinking about you. Stay safe!
Amazing kit and sponsor presentation. Hard working man of UA-cam! Big hug to you and Emily. Stressful times this week.
Phil, great to see you and your family are all safe, I was wondering how you are doing. Stay safe take care. I’d love to go for a ride with you from the wattage cottage, perhaps one day.
Glad to see that you, Emily and Critter are all safe. The new kit looks great! Stay rad and keep snatchin' those KOMs from the dopes and dopers.
New kit looks dope Phil

I like the new kit and ordered it, Gucci bibs and all!

I love my ice legs! Thanks, Phil!
Been thinking of you both and the dogs every time the fires mentioned. Glad to see that you are safe. ❤

Imagine having one battery do the same job as four separate ones. Wires, man.

Hope you are safe and I have a brother in West Hills. Stay safe!!
Phil speaks the truth about Shimano and SRAM. 👏👏👏
Congrats on another great season Phil.
I didn't hate last years kit, but this years looks amazing.
Great season of what?
New kit looks great!
Lets go Phil!
Kit looks great !!!
Phil, your new kit looks great... : ) 😂😂 but yeah the old one was worse. Also, stay safe out there. Bear with it.
lol, I'm doing the opposite of what Phil says. I use SRAM, Garmin and wear >100€ Bibs and Jerseys 😂

Red Lobster, that's funny!
I was searching for an article about stages bankruptcy and that came up first for some reason. I laughed out loud so it had go in
How is it snowing in Big Bear if there's no rain in the basin??
Stay safe
glad you're safe. odd audio from trying to remove room echo?

@@worstretirementever figured something as much. as your yt comment belayers, we'll give you the right amount of slack on this one.

Gooch Goop section is always fun to hear cyclists talk about 😂

For fun, use a clown horn to pass on the trails, makes people laugh 😂. Thanks for the merch info. Stay safe!
Rim brake bikes are not dorky! They are classy! (LOL)
Saying short sentences and then going to a neutral position makes for easier editing, but it makes it feel kind of choppy.

@@worstretirementeverI’m sure it wasn’t easy with the fires all around. It just seemed so choppy compared to your normal natural style.
