do they have dust storms often in that area south of Deming ? , i was aware of these relocated animal after seeing a Meateater episode.

Not sure how often, but they are not uncommon in that area from what we understand. It was our first time being in one, and hopefully our last. 🙂

Absolutely awesome:). I drew the tag for last year as well and got 5 days in before I had some work issues and had to leave:(. My favorite hunt of all time, by far!! I will go again!! Thank you for posting your content, it reminded me of my time on the rock and how special that place is. Ibex are the most amazing animals, not just living but thriving there, I was humbled and impressed:)

I guide for Ibex in the Florida's. Most challenging hunt in the US and 2nd in the world I believe. Definitely hardest in the US and New Mexico.

The Florida Mountains are a small 12-mile long, mountain range in New Mexico. The name was given by the Spaniards because of the rich flora found in some of the small inner valleys.
