- Today we got a couple small things done on the 64 one-family car and took care of aome issues on the Prarie Beige '57 Oval beetle. I also got a ghia running that hadn't been started in a couple months while sitting at the shop next door.

Whoophf! That oil light becoming a pump issue, I’ll bet your happy it came back in 😮😊 like I said before, there’s always some bit of small details that need correction on any restoration. The way you talk about the Ghia carb issues was kinda funny. I could hear the “I don’t need this right now” followed by “not my problem” 😂 have a better tomorrow my friend 😁👋🏻
Yeah, huge relief that took care of the oil pressure issue, I did NOT want to pull that motor on my dime! The ghia... just trying to help Octavio out.
That carburetor problem on the Ghia you were referring to, falls into Murphy’s law. Love the beige oval ! Thanks, RickGTI….. 🌴

The defroster works great going up hill, not worth a damn going down hill, you always had a towel to keep the windshield clear!
Yes, the towel was an absolute necessity in these cars. Most of mine didn't have stock heaters, so the towel was even more important 😂
@@VintageClassicSpecialist all the oil film on the windshield with the early stale air heaters I can't see how the heater channels ever rusted out! 😂😆😁
