I have Degenerative Disc Disease, I have not been pain free in over 30 years. Currently I am waiting for surgery, my entire lumbar spine is bone to bone, It will take 2-3 surgeries to correct it along with severe stenosis that should have been removed 8 years ago. Some injuries you never completely heal from.
I've had 15 spine surgeries, 29 of the 32 vertebrae are fused with rods. I'll tell you what Dr's won't, they can only patch you, to them you are just a future payday.
Awesome story. I've been dealing with severe chronic pain since I was 12 yrs old and battling metastatic breast for 10 yrs and counting. I'm now 61 yrs old and still breathing. Brightest Blessings to all fellow pain warriors. Where there's life there's hope ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I wondered that too. Jake, Jennifer, and Chen. I laugh when we find Chen in a lot of job titles. Glixnak also seems to be a Jack of trades but master of none. :P
@@grandfather3710 Problem is, I've known several idiots who "didn't want to be a burden" and turned a couple of weeks recovery to months just because of basically stubborn idiocy. I'm pretty sure you can differentiate the days you just 'work through it' from days you need an extra rest, while Lucas here will cause his teammates extra work and worries because of his stubbornness.
Pain tolerance? I was born with a malformed and dislocated left hip. Drs did not properly diagnose till i was 2. At that point, they needed to go in for corrective surgery. I spent time in traction, and almost a year in a full body cast, ankles to armpits. The beliefe is that the surgery, while successful, left one leg slightly shorter than the other, by half an inch or less. Around 15, i started getting some pain in my right hip, that was soon diagnosed as femoral head necrosis. Since then, my hips have both degraded, i am now diagnosed with end stage osteoarthritis on both hips and due to changes in my gait, i am also now diagnosed with scoliosis. I have lived in pain for around 30 years. Ive seen drs who have been amazed to see me walk in to an exam room instead rolling in on a wheelchair. I cannot reach my feet or anything below my knees, i cannot crouch or bend down, i cannot even stand up from the floor without using a strong support. Yet i try to be active and not let my limitations restrict me, for example, i walked half a mile to a lumber shop today, and bought an 8 foot 4x4 lumber post, and carried it the half mile back home on my shoulder. Yes im in pain right now, but i needed it, and lacking a car, i used what means i had.....my feet. I can either sit around lazy and moaning about not being able to do stuff, or.....i can say 'screw it', and get out there and do what i can, as best i can, as long as i can, and try to be as productive as i can be in spite of the pain. Hopefully, ill be able to get both hips replaced this year, maybe then ill be able to be more productive and in less pain.
Hmm, Lucas is still moron. He should've tried to wrap his ankle before trying to move on it. But then, one who twists my ankle at least once every couple years? Yeah, take a few deep breaths, check it's a twist, not a breakage, see if you can cool it and wrap and keep going regardless.

''Inhuman resilience?'' Surely you mean HUMAN resilience? UnALIEN Resilience. Resilience beyond Galactic norms?

Great story❤
Why is there always a lone human in these academies?

With my cerebral palsy, I'm 61 years old and have never ever had a day without pain.
I've always worked through the pain. I never stop.

Certain levels of it you just get used to, I guess.

Wow, sorry for you, hope the surgery goes well
@ВладиславРоманов-х4е thank you for the support.😊😊
Humans are resistant to many things and can grow even more tolerant if exposed in the right quantity (do not attempt with dangerous substances)

Step on the legos
Worst pain ever 😭
Lucas is stubborn and prideful.
No, you're just weak.
Where your mind goes your body will follow. This is just mind over matter with one pain lessens another.
atleast his name isnt Chen this time lol
Any one got a Crutch ?
Wait a minute. I thought he was wearing gloves?
He would have gotten cut either way as they already stated that it would cut through gloves
Yep, it cut through the gloves. They "said it".
